Disable ability 3?

I’m attempting to re-create volleyball using lucios, but i cant disable boop after 3 hits, any advice?

You have to disable Secondary Fire.

ability 3 is referred to as Secondary Fire, other passive abilities cant be detected in the workshop yet

i can disallow the button of secondary fire, but is there a way to deactivate the ability?

yeah use Set Secondary Fire Enabled method and choose False value. To reset the disabling use the same method in another rule and set the input param to True to enable the ability again.
