Were you guys drunk at the wheel when changing sombra? You give her limited stealth, tie it to a loud ability she needs now, and don’t even let you capture while in stealth. I think you guys have topped the worst rework you’ve ever made. Season 1 sombra might’ve been bad but at least she was fun

They buff a hero, they nerf a hero. Its called balancing and adjusting the meta.

Nah, they’re not top rated anymore, far from it. Especially not when it comes to Overwatch.
No, that is not called balancing, it’s called adjusting the heroes based on win-rates and high-elo statistics, not player experiences and feedback from across all elos.
No, that is not ‘adjusting’ the meta, it is forcing a meta, and that’s how they’ve done it for years and that my friend, is very unhealthy for the game, especially in lower elos. The power creep is a beast that could’ve and should’ve been killed a long time ago, but, since they aren’t competent at what they do, then what we have is a never ending power creep.
Their strategy is not to do things based on competence but for the sake of experimenting. It’s fine to experiment with your player bases when your game is in alpha/beta but this many years after release? That’s when you should start thinking about making long lasting changes and solid changes rather than experimenting with the game once every 3 months, or like they do with World of Warcraft and have done for years with each new expansion where they remove stuff that worked in the previous expansion only to replace it with useless stuff nobody asked for.
Incompetent developers make changes they ‘think’ will work based on content creator feedback and chuck it into the live game to experiment on the rest of the player base to see whether or not they like it.
Competent developers make changes based on actual feedback from the entire player base and lots of testing on test servers before implementing them on the live game, because that gives them a chance to change or revert said changes before they go live and blow up the entire community.
