Why are you constantly trying to create Destiny 2 and failing?
I appreciate more of the context behind creating Overwatch and the path in which it was set to follow.
However, I feel that it was well known that the community was weary about Overwatch 2 to begin with. The addition of PvE content made these uneasy feelings practically vanish (for most of us) and instilled us with the belief that the loss of our beloved Overwatch 1 would be worth it. With the loss of the CORE of what we were told the PvE would provide, it’s making Overwatch 2 feel more like a heavy patch than a new game, and makes the sacrifice of Overwatch 1 feel… like it was all for not.
As a beta Overwatch player with hundreds and thousands of hours put into this game, I’m disappointed. If it truly was a struggle to create the vision of what PvE should’ve been, Overwatch 1 should’ve stayed. Overwatch 2 should’ve waited to be released until the team was sure they could provide what we were told would happen.
There’s nothing wrong with not being able to fulfill plans. Life happens, and we all can relate to this fact. However, if there really was a struggle to make PvE a reality from the get go, be honest with the community.
The passion that pushed me through Overwatch 1 has been crushed substantially. My heart goes out to the team members who put their blood, sweat, and tears into making this once glorious PvE vision. I hope one day to see it come back and that Blizzard changes their mind , but I fear this is just a hope that will probably never come to be.

OW was basically his baby after being a Quest Designer for so long and these morons destroyed it, i imagine he’s not happy about the current state but is satisfied with the legacy he left

So wow buys an entire company and gets those people to work in content for the game. Diablo makes an entire new game, hearthstone launches content regulary, OW: “We dont have enough recources”, cool

There is no future. You lied way before the launch of OW2. Why would anyone ever trust you again? Plus the “PvE” is just Archived which is very boring.

He owned it 1.5 years after doing, definitely an upstanding guy. He had to apologize in this dev update, it was the bare minimun in their check list right next to “Hype the bright future of the game”
