How is diff a suspendable word :joy: had a game of doomfist being called a black monkey, another game just saying the N word, another game tank telling teammate to K/Y/S and another of fresh account throwing for lols. But me typing diff in chat is 2 week suspension :rofl: what a joke of a game.

Well hopefully you reported all of those other people as well so they can catch the suspension they deserve. Also doesn’t change the fact that what you said is ALSO against T.O.S. Just because someone else did something worse doesn’t mean you won’t get penalized for doing something “lesser” than what they did.

Every one of the words you mentioned should be suspendable or bannable. I do agree that “diff” is probably the least bad of them though.

As for why Diff is bad, it’s because it makes it look like you’re pinning the blame on one specific person. If I’m the person who has the lowest scoreboard stats on my team, I likely already know it, and having my teammates rub it in doesn’t exactly make me feel good. It’s akin to saying “Tank, you suck!”.

It also makes it look like you feel a need to make sure that everyone in the game knows that the loss isn’t your fault; that it’s all because of the tank. Makes you look like you have a very thin skin.

If the only toxic thing you do in the game is say “tank diff”, I’m not going to report you for it. But I will avoid giving you an endorsement, and I might avoid you as a teammate.

If there’s other toxic things you did in addition to saying “tank diff”, then it might just be the straw that breaks the camels back for a report.

And if it was their fault or we just got diffed as a team or u diff someone else? The truth is the truth. So what we forget about it and go again next game. To have it as an offensive word is so soft ish. Like seriously. This why they losing to rivals.

It’s not about equating, as I’ve said you STILL went against code of conduct. They’re not going to go through every report and pick out the lesser evils. You still chose to break their code and rules, which you agreed to when you made an account. You made your actions now accept your consequences lol. (I see people in rivals get silenced/actioned for the saaaaame stuff btw. I already got 10+ accounts actioned against :rofl: ).

Trolling.

Whilst horrible behaviour and they should be banned. Doesn’t mean trolling is acceptable.

It isn’t equating anything. Neither are acceptable. Do better. All you had to do was report the racists and leave them to it.

If you said “diff” because of my playstyle, id report you

I also think youre probably the reason your team lost

You coulda pinged or make a simple callout

'soldier behind"
“ana no nade”
“lets combo ults”

but no you probably waited silent all game, while audibly rolling your eyes, just to say “diff”
