Did you make Friends in Overwatch?

Yup. Made a handful of friends back in 2017-2018.

6 (not including myself) and yeah, we still play together almost every day. Not always Overwatch, we play other games together as well (Deep Rock Galactic, Satisfactory, Don’t Starve Together, League of Legends, etc.). I’m pretty much the only one from our group that still plays Overwatch daily, but my friends join me pretty regularly still.

Getting to meet them irl was pretty cool. Though for in-game memories specifically, we used to save a lot of our plays as gifs with gyfcat, but since gyfcat got shut down, a lot of those gifs aren’t accessible anymore :/ One of my favorite things we still do every now and then is, for a match or two, we’ll play each others’ mains. It usually doesn’t really go that well and we end up losing most of the time, but it’s still very fun.

I’ve made some. Sometimes we still play together. Mostly just one I really still group with.
Not really any memories as it were, but she loves talking to my kiddos, either in the mike or answering them in her stream.

Nope. For some reason playing solo is what i like doing. I do enjoy playing with friends though but i have weird reason not to.

Had friends from OW1 but they all quitted and I am soloing. Its a living hell but I am used to it.

Been playing with the same buddy for 3 years or so. We’ve moved mostly to Fortnite now, but I still play OW solo

Not really… I’ve friended quite a few people, but if I ever play with them again, it’s usually once or twice shortly after meeting them, and then we simply ignore each other.

I get more interaction on the forums.

Probably 20 or so. Some are still around and play often, others play from time to time and a few moved on.

We have a healthy mix of people - Hungarian, Finnish, Russian, Ukrainian, Dutch, French, Aussie, Saffers, couple of Brits.

It makes everyone so miserable that they want to flee after a single loss.

I brought friends to this game but none of them stayed for long. I guess I am the only stupid one who hasn’t let go of it yet.

We know it makes you feel that way and you tell us how much you hate it all day every day. Dont play or post if you hate it this much ffs. There is more than ow out there

I’ve made all of my best online friends in Overwatch. Some of us are really really close since we’ve been playing for 4-5 years together.

You seem to have a serious problem with this game so why do you keep playing? It’s easy to just uninstall and play something else if it really brings you that much pain. Every single post I see you comment under is just absurdly negative.

I had a few early on but took a break from the game and they were gone when I came back. For the last few years i have turned all chats off including voice and have not talked at all to anyone in game
