Did You Know That Genji Used to Have Spells and a "Backstab" ability?

I was reading an article about the making of Baptiste and Brig. Genji was mentioned as being a melee character for the longest time and he even had spells and Backstab as part of the kit. You can just imagine Genji using Backstab and he will ghost teleport or maneuver behind you and BAM - stabbed

I think it’s really cool to see what could have been, or just the different ideas the devs experiment with

Pretty neat for pve though

  • daydreams about the amount of random content we could really get in the workshop
