Yeah I don’t think they have the best guys working there at the moment. I’ll probably wait on buying OW2 for a couple of weeks, until the PvE mode have gotten some reviews. Since OW2 PvP will be free anyway, the entire need to buy OW2 hinges on the PvE.
And we haven’t heard anything about that so there is nothing on how that will actually work, if it will work at all.
OW2 isn’t out yet so I have no idea how it will play. 
Didn’t change. While I admit that I didn’t pay huge attention to the match last night (I was horribly tired), it also doesn’t represent the gameplay I’ll experience and had the erratic OWL-style spectator direction which makes it annoying to make out what’s really happening in a larger scale at any given time, or with any particular hero over the match.
That said, the rework info we got does hold my interest enough to keep waiting (though carefully so). Luckily, I’m more interested in the PvE side of things.
I’ll have to pay more attention when the match comes up soon in the encore, but I doubt it’ll change my thoughts.
To be fair, that’s all they showed us so far.
We still don’t have any news on new tank or support heroes, and I’m certain we’ll get at least get 2 new supports.
As a tank main, that match of OW2 was anti-hype. Seeing the Rein hiding in cover for long chunks of the match and getting damn near insta-deleted by a solo Sombra…yeah, no, not really interested.
Already did it after the pvp streaming in june.

It grew when I saw the Sombra changes, it got less when I saw the match.
Sombra will be great, but the DPS queue times to play her will be really dire.
i saw the reworks but where is this match people are talking about? did they play OW2 again?
I was a bit sceptical about those reworks on tanks at first but given how heroes even in other roles are also getting quite the changes, its definitely going to be hell of a new experience. Heck a lot of those reworks are gonna make characters feel like whole new heroes. Im cautiously optimistic.
still the same i mean we still dont know when the game will be launched. i dont like to get hyped about things that wont be out in 4-8 months. if it was next month i’d be hyped to hell and back
Positive with reservations. The “It’s like COD” is to many a bad sign. I don’t want COD, I want OW thank you. I think Sombra will be tuned (well of course they all will) and Bastion’s sticky bomb business makes absolutely zero sense. It would have made more sense on Echo or some other new character.
Kinda stayed the same although it look somewhat promising. Kinda question the Bastion change but the Sombra change looks decent. Still has a lot progress to go before I decided to get hyped for it. Need some Tank/Support reworks like Orisa or Moira
Its a big meh for me. I’ll wait to see how they will want Brig and Symmetra. And I’ll see how re-playable the PvE missions are.
I haven’t watched the match yet, but I like the looks of the reworks.
But the ruleset of the match, peeves me if it’s an example of how the entire game will play. Tanks might as well just be merged with DPS, if that ruleset stays.
I didn´t watch that match, I just watch updates about reworks and my hype is just low…
Despite recent “info” about supports, I still didn´t see anything new or groundbreaking about this role - all things are focused on new tank role and some dps heroes…
As a support main, I am just scared…

Every single thing i see about Overwatch 2 just kills a bit more of my hope. It just looks like a series of vast DPS buffs.
I was hyped for small moments when they revealed the Sombra and Bastion reworks, then my hype died when I was brought back to reality by the demo gameplay and what it means for my chosen roles.
Yeah…as I see people struggling to deal with bastion now in QP, OW 2 will be hell to heal…
