Did They Remove The “Avoid Player” Feature?

I went to social and recent players and the option to avoid players is gone. Anyone know why?

Just had someone jumping off the map all game and would like to not be paired with them again.

that has to be a bug but i will check my end…if i dont end up breaking ym mouse tonight that is

It has to be a bug since i’ve recently added players to that list. It is only limited to 3 for some reason though

hey check the integrity of your files as it was present on my end but maybe also try adding someone to the list to see if it appears

You have to right click on the individual person’s name card and select avoid through there. The “Avoided players” tab only appears when you’ve got avoided players in it.

You won’t see it if you don’t have anyone currently on it. Click the player’s name you want to avoid and select Avoid from there.

Also, FYI, you can put someone on that list but you can only have 3 avoids and the avoid only lasts a week.

Because Blizzard are completely disconnected from their game’s community. They have no idea what it’s like to play the game outside of their internal testing servers or what they see in Overwatch League.

They have no idea of the vast number of griefers, trolls, and smurfs that infest the game, especially on console (where smurf accounts were free to make back in Overwatch and who Blizzard let back in the game when they relaxed the requirement for accounts to have a mobile phone number attached).

They fail to understand that 3 is a woefully inadequate number and that a week’s duration is just not enough.

Despite the many, many, many requests over the years to give players many more avoid slots and a permanent duration option, here we are, a month into the sequel’s release, and we’re still asking.
