Ideally, it will make her worse statistically and put her more in the middle of the pack of healers, while not really making her feel any different.
I mean, she’ll be putting up thousands of hp healing less a match. That’s gotta have an impact.

It’s the opposite, actually. It makes her feel worse but doesn’t do much to affect her overall power, because it wasn’t her healing that was too strong.

I guess we’ll just have to see. Personally I don’t think it’s the rez that’s the problem, just that Mercy is too good overall and having power subtracted anywhere in her kit could fix her. Let’s give it a few weeks and watch comp pickrates and winrates.
She wasn’t overpowered when she could completely remove an entire volley of ultimates, and charge in sub 30 seconds if it was a good battle Mercy. Rez isn’t the problem. All the other main healers are just trash right now, so it throws off the pickrate stats.

My healing’s gone down by 1k and she’s more of a chore but otherwise no difference.

So explain to me why they gave her 60hps before her rework so she could keep up with other supports back then?
But now they feel like reverting that will give other supports a chance when she is still in the middle of the pack as a healer overall right now?

Because she was balanced for not having an E ability. But, now she does, so the rest of her kit has to be correspondingly weaker.
And she’s not in the middle of the pack. She is at near 100% use in high rank competitive.

That’s because of rez and valk. Her healing alone is about on par with other healers. Or rather, was.

Ah yes no E ability and now that she does have one surprisingly they ignore the OP E ability and instead revert her hps.
And I am not talking about her pick rate. She is in the middle of the pack as a healer she does not out heal Moira or Ana AT ALL but she is still picked despite everyone knowing this. Why might that be…?
Oh wait that E ability that seems to be the catalyst for all of our woes having to deal with this hero since this “successful” rework that is on its 13th nerf.

No, it wasn’t. It was consistently thousands of hp higher, and only Moira was even remotely close.
It was only significantly higher than Ana, and that’s because Ana’s kit has too much inconsistency and too many weaknesses. Moira often had similar or higher overall healing than Mercy. Both Ana and Moira outheal Mercy in short-term bursts.
