A couple years ago I could have sworn I seen a death with Ult Icon. I remember it used to say it could kill people with low enough health. It’s driving me crazy.
it may have been for turrets, since they would technically die but idk, maybe 1 point at best
It “deals damage” to shield health by destroying it so theoretically it could kill someone whose health is entirely shields but I can’t think of a single situation in which that’s possible.

Like it was up in the corner where it lists deaths.
It only deals damage to shields by removing them completely.
It could be that person died while hacked. Which would mean he was hacked by EMP then killed.
It’s never done damage outside of shield health, and there’s never been a situation where a hero could only have shield health remaining.

If a hero like Pharah is EMP’d and falls off the map I think that the EMP gets the kill credit for it. But I’m not sure.
It doesn’t currently, and pretty positive it never has.
I really wish they’d QoL her boops show the Hack symbol. I have no idea why they left that one out when they changed the feed to show boop symbols.
I don’t think so, the hacked status use to last longer though. They nerfed it because people were complaining about how long they remained hacked for after EMP.
If EMP caused that person to die it would give credit to EMP like if it hacked a Pharah or dva in the middle of flying and then they fell to thair death
It would get marked as an environmental kill.
Pretty sure you can still do that if you time it right and have a decent understanding of the map you are playing on. I only achieved making a Pharah fall to her death once though when playing around on Sombra. I do try since I like annoying miss “JUSTICE RAINS FROM ABOVE AS I DO THE CHEST SHAKE!”, but I hardly manage it. Then again I am sure a Sombra main could manage it more than once.
