I’m confused as to whether this is a placeholder since it’s pretty obvious that they released Brigitte earlier than they planned due to the Japanese leak, or if they did this with intentions of keeping it this way.
Either way it’s pretty odd.

I knew it… (Also, there.)
I wish they kept her face like the Honor and Glory cinematic. Now it’s just Mercy with freckles.

No, she doesn’t have the same face:

Oh my god. It is the same. Why was her face changed so much from the short to the in-game model? Either someone on the design team needs to explain this laziness, or someone on the lore team needs to explain Torb x Mercy.

I’d be down to ship Swiss Chocolate
Mercy is much hotter tho.
Or did Mercy copy her face? Hmm…
Several of the girl characters’ in-game models have extremely similar faces with very slight differences.
Tracer, for example, in her official artwork looks like a very cool, confident trickster type of character, but her in-game model’s face looks like a happy cheerful Disney princess. Mercy’s artwork makes her look like a serious and slightly cold person, but in game she looks like a happy cheerful Disney princess. Brigitte…to be fair, her artwork actually does look like a young, cheerful character lol.
Most characters’ artworks look much more unique and have a lot more personality than the final 3d models. It is very hard to take a 2d concept and transfer it into 3d, but at this point where several characters are starting to look the same with small differences, I can’t help but wish they could to go back and touch up some of the models and make them more unique looking.
Literally just look at the faces and notice they aren’t even the same. Get your eyes checked. The jaw alone should be obvious enough.
