I spent money on pre ordering a new game which is now cancelled. This is overwatch 1 with a BattlePass. They just charged money so they can charge money.

Bought that Founderā€™s Pack thing because I was excited about the PVE, yeah. Feels terrible.

Itā€™s a free game. If you pre-ordered a battle pass and a couple of skins then thatā€™s on you. Many of us tried to warn you guys not to spend money on this trash. I donā€™t feel sorry for you tbh.

The thing is, I wanted the in game contentā€¦in the new game mode that they promised, not in ow1 + battlepass. A lot of us understood that the pve was going to take longer and we were ok with that. Everything was tied to the pve. If they lied, used it as bate, just for people to spend more money on the game, that would become a legal issue.

You must be a child if you think the cancelation of free content in a video game is a legal issue.

There have been lawsuits for lesser and dumber things that won in court (I am not suggesting this can or will be or even should be one of those instances).

If you get an email from a Nigerian Prince telling you to send him money to cover the cost of sending you $10 million worth of diamonds, please donā€™t, itā€™s a scam as well and you wonā€™t get the diamonds and be out a few thousand dollars.

This needs to be said a thousand times. I always tell people this about books, but itā€™s true for games as well. Preordering is perhaps the dumbest purchase decision someone can make.

I bought the Watchpoint pack and Battle Passes for PVE, if Blizzard has a conscience they should refund to everyone who is waiting for the PVE game.

Hello Blu. Welcome to human civilization circa 2023. Legal entities called corporations do not possess a ā€œconscienceā€ or anything that could be construed as ā€œmoralsā€. All corporations pander. They will wave a pride flag and set up a factory in a country that actively persecutes the very people the flag represents. Blizz included.

Said it almost a year ago. OW2 was misdirection slight of hand to swap their monetization method -from loot boxes to battlepass. Thatā€™s itā€¦

they knew people would lose their mind if it came in a regular patch but slap on some paint and people just accepted it as a ā€œnewā€ thing

Ok sad boy. Everything was advertised together and itā€™s was clearly said that it would be more than this. There wouldnā€™t be any other reason to invest in an otherwise dead game that they were not doing anything about. They put out the bundles, implying that it was tied to the new game mode that they were.
Even if itā€™s not a legal issue, itā€™s still crappy of them.
But all you are doing, is leaving crappy, negative and rude comments, that donā€™t actually help, just because youā€™re mad atā€¦something, itā€™s not clear what, you donā€™t even have the game installed. Do you have something to contribute with or are you just trolling?
