Who specifically doesn’t care in Blizzard?

Why on earth would one product going to plan mean that a multi-year investment in a big product launch announced to investors is suddenly irrelevant?

Please tell me how Blizzard is pushing it in your faces.

I’m not sure why you’re bringing up things I never mentioned. I never talked about Diablo.

It was never relevant to begin with though

Overwatch will not put their characters behind a paywall.

If they do, they game will truly die.

What about a limited time paywall where they can release overpowered characters for a week or two, nerf them then add them to the roster for all players? Lol

“Guaranteed” you get early access to new characters lol

Well that’s the thing, this is a Diablo Immortal thread. We are expressly talking about Diablo Immortal here, I am expressly saying rewarding blizzard for their behavior with Diablo Immortal is probably not a good thing.

I think you may be confused here.

See you said this and it makes me think you think I’m talking about the Watchpoint pack. I am not. I’m talking about Diablo Immortal’s monetization. As was the guy you first responded to.

If you think I was talking about OW2 let me say I can’t make any comment on OW2’s monetization, we haven’t seen all the details about it yet. I hope that clears up any confusion.

To whom?

And as you didn’t answer my question, can I assume you don’t know the answer?

You answered your own question in your question though.

Thanks - you just answered mine in full.

F2P is all about pushing the limits of what your community will tolerate before pushing back. Judging from some of the responses on the forums, Bobby is going to have a field day, lol.

Lucky for me that p2w trash is blocked in my country.

Which I play a lot of free to play games. I really think Overwatch needed to be free to play to begin with. Heck, every multiplayer game without a campaign should be free to play. :woman_shrugging: But, blizzard history and how they’ve been treating their real players is not going good

That doesn’t mean it’s the only thing that’s being talked about and needs to be talked about in each post.

Then why not clarify instead of posting what you did?

Then respond to that person, and not me with what you said.

You talked about “This behavior from blizzard”
So i talked about how they should educate themselves before buying something.

Besides, it’s not like I’m the only one who talked about OW.

Also I’d like to point a that the game isn’t technically free to play. If you don’t have OW1, OW2 isn’t free to play, and you have to buy OW1.

My response was for you. :face_exhaling:

This thread specifically names diablo immortal. But you know that’s what I was talking about now.

I really wanna go over this statement with a fine toothed comb but I think it would only sow more confusion. Let’s just call it a day. Take care Neopets.

Just following the formula:

  • convince people it’s for their benefit
  • make crappy game designed to milk every penny possible from people
  • ruin franchises
  • bank
  • rinse and repeat

The forums are like 50 people lol. The 99.99999% rest of the playerbase will buy and support ow2.

It’s a mobile game that they hid for about 2 years after the back lash for things to die down… barely mentioned the games release till it was ported to PC and of course it sells in china as a mobile game.

It’s obviously going to make money, they always do because whales exist. There will always be people who pay no attention to gaming news or controversial news that just buy what ever.

Add to that mobile games are super cheap to make, even if it only made say 10 million it be way more profitable than your normal PC game that takes years of development.

Remember most mobile games look and run more like something out of the 90’s.
