Devs are answering posts!

I’ve noticed a sudden uptick in Dev responses.

This is great! After so long of Dev silence, it’s really refreshing to see them respond and give a little more insight into what they’re doing and thinking. I’ve even seen Michael Chu post in the story thread!!

Maybe we can get a better feel for what they think about Orisa, Junkrat, Phrarah, etc balance wise.

For now, at least it’s something!

Balance is not enough.

The eagles are back. I just hope they would be more blu post.

What exactly would be enough?

In my opinion, balance is by far the most important key to success for a game like Overwatch. Personally, I don’t really care about new event game modes that are only around for 2-3 weeks of the year. As far as things like heroes, maps, and lore, Blizzard has maintained a pretty consistent pace.

Well, at least there’s progress in communication. The hit to their wallet is working apparently.

I like it when Jeff posts!
I don’t like it when Geoff posts.
More Jeff, less Geoff.

It’s nice to see them active😄

Let’s hope this isn’t just checking the block so they can disappear for a month or two again😂

Things asked since many year, like à review our matches system/historic of our match
Real scorboard… Etc
and many stupid Things like not cancelled a game because somebody leave before the start.

I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and maybe if they keep communicating properly and make meaningful discussion, i’ll consider trusting them again.

Fair enough.

Totally agreed on the match history. Feels like something we should have by now.

As for the scoreboard, that seems like a pretty clear case of a design choice, so I doubt they will change it. You can call it catering to casuals or whatever else, but I think the lack of a scoreboard was a smart choice to be honest.

That said, these seem like pretty minor gripes.

My word😵

Thanks.

I really hope not.

Communication is healthy for any relationship, including devs and players. And when the devs go silent for any reason, people get weary and conspiracy theories start running. People wear a nice tinfoil suit and go into war with themselves.

What if Overwatch was just in our heads this whole time… :scream:

You’re welcome. I already removed the one in my post too. :joy:

Balance is the key to all things, my friend. To receive an end, there must be a beginning. The end you want, must come from somewhere.
And that somewhere begins with a blue post.

I want a frickin refund. I didn’t sign up to be a crappy hero. What’s my special ability, eating a record number of potato chips??

The devs do something to make the fanbase upset, fanbase gets upset, fanbase starts to question the devs.

Instead of coming here and answering, they stay away for months, let people make theories, let arguments grow, and get people angrier at the devs then they were before.

Then people starts to assume things because what’s left to do.

And this all causes the devs to not want to come here anymore since they say it’s hostile when it’s their own fault it is.

Staying connected with your fanbase can make even terrible games better❤️

Seems rather mean. Why?
