They should update their client to play the proper sound effects when a match is found when the game is minimized. It used to work, though I can’t remember when as it’s been a long butt time.

If they are as pretentious as AAA companies are nowadays, its a trailer/Announcement for the Announcement of S10
“Tune in next week to preview the upcoming season 10 update! With special guest [insert name(s) of Content creator(s) here], [insert name of Blizz staff here], and a live interview with [insert high design team member here]. As they reveal when S10’s release date!”
Result:
First 20 minutes patting themselves on the back for getting this far and the struggles they endured. 40 minutes of them talking about the design process (again) but this time about S10 theme. Show off a $25 dollar skin for 10 minutes, eleborating on its design processes and customizable features. Tease “Big things coming” spend 20 seconds stating S10 release date. End stream.

There’s been one since the downgrade to OW2; I believe it was when they announced the story mode was canned but that the 3 missions (2 of which we saw played in full years before, but with more content to them back then) were getting released.
I wonder if they’re planning to make the dev update mark the day we’ll get to give the new hero a test drive in QP, like they did with Mauga (since they said that this was received well and they’d look into doing it for future releases too) as that was an incredibly rare team 4.5 W.
If they on the off chance announced sweeping changes just like we had this season for S10, with the promise that they’d do this every season, then I’d be happy because it would mean that we aren’t stuck with this smoothbrain balance and any future seasons would actually have the potential to switch things up and make the game at least feel fresh on some seasons. (6v6 permanently back pleasssee, then I would actually play tank)
