Seeing all the bring back Jeff Comments like not to hate on anyone who misses him or anything we all do, but people talking about like bring him back all that he left for his reasons and them saying that I don’t know just makes the attitude and mode towards the new lead feel so awkward not bad or negative or anything it’s just ughhhh why are you saying that towards this guy particularly?

things to note…STAIRS. I wish they would bring back experimental because some of these abilities are really interesting. On the other hand this new reporting system feels more worrying, why are they giving us more options of how to report people instead of…you know getting actual people to review said reports? Now people are gonna be petty enough to report you right after you kill them and then the AI moderated system is just gonna be like “sounds fair you’re banned”

The dude obviously meant she can STILL hack when invisible and is displeased about that. At least that’s what he assumes since indeed, there’s no mention of her in the video (or any hero besides Widow).

The map reworks look really good, ngl :sob: I’m excited for those.

I don’t fully understand the new T500 requirement. Is it 750 competitive games total on an account, and that covers you for every season?

Also not sure if I love the map reworks. I like that certain maps and checkpoints favor certain heroes and play styles like by having inaccessible high ground to non-mobile heroes. I’m worried about everything become too homogeneous if more team comps and strategies work all the time.

I would assume so. Kinda like you need 50? 100? Wins to unlock comp on your account, you now need 750 games played to unlock t500. Requiring 750 games played a season would be some sicko nonsense

no way its 750 comp games in a season come on guys…surely. But will this really fix the EdUcAtIonAl unranked to gm people though?

There will still be unranked to gm because even if you can’t get t500 you could get to gm. But it does cut down on the people making alts since outside of maybe content there’s really no payoff for t500 players making alts if they can’t get t500

I’m not really a fan of making it easier to report…thankfully it sounded like it was only for console? I’m prob wrong on this one

On the dev blog they used a mouse so I’m pretty sure it’s for everyone. It does raise the issue of false reports and I kinda wish they would address it better even if it’s not a real problem

Yeah I’m watching it again and I think she was just saying it makes it way easier on console in particular…not strictly console….but now I realized you don’t even have to write a reason and….ewwwwwwwww

Need someone to relay to devs a console specific issue that’s easier to fix than anything.

When not in group, viewing career profile is at the top of your possible selections when clicking on your icon. When you’re in a group, “leave group” moves to the top so muscle memory makes it pretty easy to unintentionally leave your group when trying to open career profile. Why not just move “leave group” to the bottom?

I personally hate this trend of “upgrading” the Mythic skins. Reaper was like that and now Widow is too. It’s really, really greedy and it forces you to go up to level 4 for the skin to actually look “mythic”. It’s very transparent why they are doing it but it sucks.

Scoreboard UI is even uglier. I don’t use text and voice anymore so those buttons are no use for me.

They make it like that for the same reason that (on PC) pressing ESC at the results screen after a match does not do anything (you HAVE to click through the buttons to proceed) - They do it like this because simply put, they don’t understand UI design. Also they moved the options menu off the main screen into a menu.

It’s actually not an accident at all… it’s purposefully done in the interest of increasing the likelihood that you’ll interact with the microtransaction system (aka manipulation engine)

Really wish they fixed the matchmaking; but hey, at least the theme from the new season is amazing, and map changes are very healthy
