People claimed removal of No Limits was a bad thing too. It saved the game.

But there’s just far too many dps mains and far too few people wanting to play tanks for that to work.
Great, you have identified the flaw in the game. 
Role Queue is the only answer. Dont want to wait? Jump in the non-role queue and enjoy playing 6v6 DPS mirrors.

By that logic, 1HL also strangled the game because it increased the burden of comps with non-synergizing one tricks.

Nope, because the game was about to implode with no limits. It would have crashed and burned inside a year.
They could play in the non-role queue and do 6v6 DPS games as they have always wished.

Hardly.
Competitive scene might have dipped in play a tiny bit, but the game itself would have had a prosperous life amongst the casuals.

The dev team never accepted 1 tricks. They all got false reported and suspensions that never got over turned and still do. Don’t you ever use the forums? Blizzard is two faced.
You seem to be confusing a failed experiment to see if 4-1-1 was fun with an experiment to see if 2-2-2 was “the best”, or something.
All he said is that 411 isn’t fun. Quit trying to make that statement into something it’s not.

Very few of those “1 tricks” actually get banned for “1 tricking”
They just use that as an excuse to coverup why they really got banned.

Um… why was Fuey banned, twice? There is more than enough evidence to suggest it happens. A lot of them DO post Blizzard support conversations before getting 404’d and you are obviously not going to believe the truth, but yes, they do get suspended for one-tricking. Why not test it out yourself if you are so confident otherwise? One-trick someone derpy like Symmetra and behold as you get suspended and try to justify that you yourself deserved it for a different reason. Lul.
