Desperately need a rebind for the scoreboard-interact key

The fact that this feature released without the ability to rebind or even just disable the key seems like an astronomical oversight.
It’s bound to R3 by default on controller. If you press both keys in too quick of a succession, your controls are locked out while you stare at the scoreboard, which has already gotten me killed multiple times in the <4 hours that the patch has been out.
Aside from that, it’s just an incredibly annoying key for me since I spam both the scoreboard and melee buttons while I’m waiting for the next team fight.

Same for PC, my scroll button is my spray hotkey so when i spam it while holding tab it locks my screen and its just unplayable.

A lot of people bind abilities to mouse wheels as well (Including me), so that’s really not good.

I’ve been playing on PC today and one of those abilities I have bound to my mouse wheel is translocator.
The amount of times I’ve nearly thrown myself off the map is insane - all because it locks out my movement keys and kills my air control

I have it bound to melee and I’m used to spamming it during moments of downtime augh

Yes I completely agree. You can’t mele while the scoreboard is up which is just horrible. I don’t know why there is no rebind for this setting

I wished they gave us option to use the old scoreboard without all this ugly icons since i use none of them. I bind my scroll key to ping.

for me, the interact key is my push to talk.

if I have to decide between the old way of doing things–hitting P and using my mouse–or whether or not to activate my mic to do something… yeah, I’m not turning my mic on to mute or report someone.

This. I don’t know who thought it was a good idea to add a new key bind without the ability to change it, it’s so dumb. On PC I have my reload on middle mouse and usually reload while looking at the scoreboard, I’ve gotten stuck so many times and it’s gotten me killed a few times too, made the game seriously unfun…

Conspiracy: they only want ppl to report, so they intentionally made button unbindable to make you look like a griefer and have more people report you

I’m so glad I don’t have the scroll wheel button bound to anything. This would drive me insane.

Even better, bring back the status screen from OW1 (the tab behavior) bound to another key and allow binding it to Tab on PC and binding scoreboard to another key. The scoreboard has way too much noise and flicking it open to see the ult levels of your team is hard to do quickly because there is way too much on the page.

I’ve seen the screen for OW1 and it looks so much better for the purpose in-game. Really you want to look at the scoreboard on death or between rounds, not every time you flick Tab during the game to see ult status or who is currently waiting to respawn or any hero changes.
