Are you ever going to add sound or desktop notifications for matches in progress? While playing WoW or in Quick play queues, the match notifications do not show up
Not exactly sure what you mean, if you refer to the Windows Desktop, the Overwatch icon in the task bar will flash when your attention is required (such as when you are selected for a match).
I think he means like Paladins does. If the game found a match and the window is inactive, then you get a loud notification sound, and a pop up in the bottom right corner about your match being ready.
There is an option to turn on “sound plays while in background” so you hear alerts when it’s not the active window, in both games.
The taskbar icon for Overwatch (while running) does not flash for Quick Play games in progress and ALL mystery hero matches beginning or in progress.

Oh, only in those specific circumstances. This does sound like something for Bug Report, let’s see if we can get it relocated for you.

I’m still having this issue. :S
The taskbar icon also doesn’t flash when people invite me to groups, or when it’s asking me to select a role. Not sure if that’s related.
