Design PvE Talents for your main in OW2

So there’s two Level 1 talents, two Level 10 talents, and two Level 20 talents in the PvE system for Overwatch 2. (edit: and potentially more levels after that)

We already know Tracer, Reinhardt, Mei, and Lúcio’s talents with some others like Torb’s flame-throwing turrets and Hanzo’s seeking arrow.

What talents would you like to see for your most played hero?

Brig summons jetpack cat that will pew pew from above.

Her repair packs can ‘jump’ to another player if it expires naturally.

She can jack up her armor for brief moment, making her an actual tank. this is a transformation, and also changes her hitbox and size.

Level 1: Doomfist’s RP has 2 changes. But the second charge is a kick. DOOMFEET

Level 2: Increase the shield gain for The Best Defense

Level 10: Meteor Storm. You can cast Meteor Strike again after landing for upwards of 3 times, and the landing delay is drastically reduced.

Self heal from baptiste granade launcher

Widow huge venom mine (not giving wallhack, just dmg)

Not moving as Zen gives 20h/s (passive)

Trap to Pharah. Enemies inside can’t walk out of it.

Sym jumppad instead of tp.

Echo self-barrier. Something like zaryas bubble but infinite and 500 hp

Bastion configuration:tank as normal abitity and sentry as ult.

Mercy abitily to instaheal to full health injured teammate instead of rez (15 s cooldown)

Doomfist
Level 1: seismic slam area is stretched out to give it longer reach when slamming down. Cool down for rocket punch goes down by 0.5 seconds after an elimination

Level 10: meteor strike has double the original radius. Enemies can take as much damage as they would if they hit a wall if rocket punched into one another. Including “wall” enemy.

Level 20: rocket punch can travel double the distance and do twice the amount of damage if enemy is hit from travelling over the original travel length of the rocket punch. Seismic slam damage area goes 360 degrees around Doomfist and stuns enemies.

Hammond’s mines move slowly toward a random target

Hammond grapples onto enemies and swings them around

Piledriver changes to divebomb and Hammond dives faster and harder toward the ground

Sombra: Walking near enemies while in stealth instantly hacks them (With downside of stealth being given it’s old duration back)

Roadhog: Walking deals damage in a radius

Moira: Doubles the size and capacity of her orbs

Ana: Darts pierce enemies and gain 25% damage for each enemy pierced

Pharah: Rockets seek out enemies

Bastion: Bullets cause enemies to burn

Mercy needs a dexterity perk that allows duel wielding with pistol+staff.

Moira
Notable Co-Op changes:

  • Moira biotic grasp does 65 dps
  • Fade can be used when stunned

  1. Pressing interact causes your Biotic Orb to explode into a gas of healing/damage, the gas stays for 3 seconds and is 3m x 3m x 3m big.

or

  1. Two charges on fade.

2.

  1. A final blow charges your resource meter by 5%.

or

  1. Fade increases your jump height by 10 meters.

3.

  1. Coalescence slows down enemies and stuns all enemies around you on activation.

or

  1. When using Coalescence, allies around you get healed for 60 hps and gain a small speed boost.

Here’s are my ideas for my main; Doomfist:

Level 1:

Seismic Shock: Enemies hit by Seismic Slam get stunned for 3 seconds

Raising Tornado Fist: Raising Uppercut now acts more like a Tornado, Doomfist spins around while uppercutting, dealing more damage and the uppercut takes longer to finish

Level 10:

x10 Best Defense: Doomfsit now gains a complete 150 shields with just one ability.

Earth Splitting Rocket Punch: Doomfist rushes forward with a devastating Rocket Punch! piercing through all kinds of enemies and dealing massive damage! range is increased to 30 meters instead of 20

Level 20:

Gigantic Strike: Doomfist’s Meteor Strike is 40% bigger, inner ring damage increased to 500, outer ring damage increased to 200.

Seismic Wrath: Seismic Slams maximum damage is no longer fixed at 125, the higher Doomfist slams, the more Damage it deals, it can even go up to 500 damage!

AND just for fun…

Level 30:

Power Rush: Everytime Doomfist hits a large enemy with Rocket Punch, he then unleashes a barrage of Punches each dealing 250 damage for 4 entire seconds, if the enemy is below 50% health, Doom’s Power Rush deals even more damage.

Ultimate Combo Master: Both Seismic Slam and Uppercut get a huge improvement, Seismic Slam now covers a 360 degree area, deals 125 damage without having to jump from high altitudes, Uppercut now has 3 charges, like brig’s armor packs, and can now knock up big giant bosses like Talon heavies or Null Sector Behemoths.

Symmetra: Photon Field

Photon Barrier augment

Symmetra now creates a massive cube of light that surrounds a large area. Enemies inside the cube take damage over time, while allies gain damage resistance. Enemy’s outside cannot walk into the cube, and it blocks all incoming fire outside the cube.

Health - 6000 Shield Health
Duration - 7 seconds
Ultimate Cost - 2,100
Damage per tick - 50
Damage mitigation - 25%

Mercy: Heavenly Light

Resurrect augment

Mercy now places a buff on an ally, granting them a damage mitigation, heal over time and a movement speed increase for 5 seconds. If the ally falls during this time, they are revived at Mercy’s current location at 50% health.

Cooldown - 18 seconds, starts after ability ends
Duration - 5 seconds
Range- 15m
Damage reduction - 15%
Heal per second - 25
Movement speed increase - 8%
Revival cast time - 1 second

Mei: Avalanche

Ice Wall augment

Mei’s Ice Wall now creates a small mound of ice that grows in size over a short period, or from taking damage. Upon reaching the max duration or activating the ability again, the mound collapses, swamping enemies in snow, dealing damage and freezing enemies based on how much damage was dealt to the mound.

Cooldown - 12 seconds, starts on second activation
Duration - 10 seconds, or until activated or destroyed
Health - 750
Damage multiplier - up to 8x
Base damage - 100
Base freeze duration - 0.5 seconds
AOE - 10m cone

Reading this was an experience, I can’t explain it.

So sombra

Lvl 1
Hacked enemies are disabled for more time
Hacking makes the target take more dmg

Lvl2
Hacking enemies produces a chain reaction and everyone near the target also gets hacked
Translocating restores 10% of health and reloads weapon

Lvl3
Can shoot and hack while invisible
EMP does burst dmg

Additional
Translocating with an enemy nearby inflicts dmg
EMP chain reaction (like hack but with emp)
Kills reset Translocator cooldown
Hack through walls with opportunist
Hack applies a damage over time effect
Stealth is limited but It’s faster and can contest points and revive teammates (quite literally the dream)

Came up with all this on the spot, so it’s probably not perfectly thought through. :woman_shrugging:

Mercy:

Level 1 Empowered Staff gives a healing boost on “R” for a short time.
Level 1 Cleanse ability on “R” cures targets of things like anti-heal, sleep, hack, ect

Level 10 For every set amount of healing Mercy does, she unleashes a pulse of AoE healing on all allies around her.
Level 10 Combat Medic duel wields pistols.

Level 20 Mass Res becomes an instant cast mass res like her original ult.
Level 20 Heroes being healed/damage boosted by Valk can’t die just like Baps immortality field.

Moira

Ability 1: damage orb loses 20 dps but gains the effect to slow enemies (i actualy kinda like this as an actual thing btw numbers can ve debated of course)

Ability 2: healing orb will now slow down even more when near teammates

Ability 3: instantly spawns both healing and damage orb’s when you activate coalescence

All I want for Doom is when he RP kills the bots they are blown apart violently with bloo- I mean “Oil”… flying everywhere

Sigma tho:

  • Remove gravity from all bots in an area
  • force push/pull
  • flip gravity, throwing all bots to the ceiling
  • smash all bots in a zone together, into a ball

I don’t think Blizzard should be scared to do a little more with blood and lesser gore, like scratches and general wounds. Mei took an explosion to the face and there wasn’t a single scratch or speck of dust on her person. Like, really? I say go for it.

Black oil exploding from Null Sector dudes would be pog.

Brig can throw repair pack and any overheal becomes armor. :cry:
