Delite genji from the game please

Alright, I’m just gonna be real here—Genji has got to go. He’s broken beyond belief, and I can’t be the only one who thinks he’s just destroying the fun of the game. This hero is way over-tuned, and it’s honestly wild that Blizzard hasn’t done something about it by now.

First off, Deflect is ridiculous. Seriously, who thought this was balanced? He can reflect almost everything we throw at him, turning all our abilities against us at the press of a button. There’s almost no counterplay, and honestly, it’s frustrating trying to fight him when he can just send everything right back at us.

Then there’s his mobility. Genji’s bouncing around, double-jumping, wall-climbing, and dashing all over the place. Trying to land a clean shot or even keep track of him is next to impossible. He gets in, messes everything up, and dashes out before we even have a chance to react. It feels like you’re up against a teleporting ninja with no cooldowns.

And don’t even get me started on Dragonblade. The second he pops his ult, it’s like an automatic team wipe. One swing, and half the team’s gone. It just feels cheap—there’s hardly any counterplay, and even good positioning doesn’t help most of the time. I get that ults are supposed to be strong, but this one feels like it’s on another level.

At the end of the day, dealing with Genji just isn’t fun. The constant dashing, the invincible Deflect, the insane ult—it’s all just too much. He takes away from the enjoyment of the game for everyone who isn’t playing him.

Blizzard, if you’re listening, please do something about this. Tone him down, rework his abilities, or honestly just remove him. Genji is ruining the experience, and a lot of us are sick of it.

Anyone else feel the same? Let’s talk about it.

Genji is strong right now but I don’t have a problem with that

No.

Zen/Ana Support main saying this.

Look, I get that some people don’t mind Genji being strong right now, but that’s not the issue. The problem isn’t just that he’s ‘strong’—it’s that his kit is downright oppressive and unfun to play against. It’s not a matter of ‘git gud’ or figuring out a counter; his Deflect, mobility, and ult combine to make him impossible to handle unless everyone’s focusing on him 24/7.

what character do you play to feel this way about him?

Egryn hi again bud , are you still dying to moira and genji with tankfist too

His ult is lowkey cheeks after the health pool increases

Nvm the link is broken

Oh hey, it’s you again! And yeah, I might still be dying to Moira and Genji, but let’s be real—that’s more a testament to how busted those two are than anything else. They’re hard-coded to ruin Tankfist’s day! Moira just spams her orbs and fades away, and Genji is like a mosquito with infinite lives. It doesn’t matter how good you play when the game itself lets them dodge and deflect every move. So yeah, I’m still here, still dying to them, and still saying they need a nerf—or maybe an entirely new game to be in.

Genji and Tracer outshines all other dps by design even when they aren’t meta. I really don’t get how they are being kept like that with all the advantages that they have.

The funnies thing is that hanzo and genji were supposed to be one character at the planning stage and genji even had bleed during early development.

its the weekend, get ready for ‘i hate genji’ threads like this one.

deflect is fine

mobility is fine

ult sucks

Absolutely agree with you. Genji and Tracer just seem to have a permanent edge over other DPS heroes, and it’s like their kits are always a step ahead, even when they aren’t technically ‘meta.’ Their insane mobility, burst damage, and escape options make them tough to counter consistently, which isn’t something you see with most other DPS.

This coping is beyond anything

Ah, I see what you did there—classic response! But here’s the thing: Deflect is comically broken and not ‘fine’ at all. He can reflect any ability back at you with zero risk, making it ridiculously hard to play any hero against him. Mobility? Genji is zipping around like he’s got infinite dashes, making him a nightmare to hit. It’s drastically overtuned, and it’s honestly unhealthy for the game when one hero can be this slippery.
