Why would they tell you go to Tank and not Support if it’s open queue and were complaining that you were a support main? :woman_standing:

i put mine on private bcuz i can tbh i dont care how much they cry they dont need to know my stats its none of their business .

Under Moira is Ana. I play Flex in QP which usually puts me as support, and Ana is pretty easy to get value from and the character I think I’m best at in that role but I don’t primarily play support. I also have a lot of playtime on Ana from when I first started playing. Under Moira and Ana is Sigma who comes very close, and under that is Zarya. I kinda just play everyone. I pick flex so I have a chance to play everything without my queue times being super high.

Outside of QP, I mostly play DPS and Tank.

Oh I also forgot to mention that after I was “called out” someone else said “gg” and then left the game on our team, leaving us without a 5th player for like 3 minutes.

Because profile shows outdated and irrelevant information, so dumb players assume many things base on total hours played.

My two highest hours play are Widowmaker and Hanzo, but that’s because I only play them vs bots where I have over 1000 hrs playing Versus AI, lol. I will never play them in PvP since my aim is horrendous, lol.

I’m a Support main, that plays Tank secondary. My best PvP DPS heroes are Sombra and Cassidy. Ask me to play any other DPS is asking me to throw.

Their excuse is that you’re insecure, scared that you don’t have it set to public profile, so they can’t intimidate you specifically and so they have no choice but to generally assume that you suck at the game.

…yep, although people that do it won’t admit it, checking profiles is definitely used as ‘evidence’ to ‘how people should play’ the game… :upside_down_face:

…well, probably because it’s less aim-intensive to play tank than DPS on average so it’s the lesser of two evils for a Moira main so I can see why the team suggested that…? :thinking:

Basically, yes this would be one of the reasons. When I use to play with a team they’d have me be on healer so I had a lot of Ana, Zen and Mercy but anytime I wanted to use heroes in other roles I’d get told “NO YOU’RE A HEALER MAIN!”

I have over 200hrs on Rein, Sombra and Widow I actually climb easier with Rein and I’d typically be in Master’s with him and Sombra would help give me that push to GM but beyond that it’s just general toxicity and wanting to put other players down for how they play and who they play.

I keep mine open because I do not care what people say. I had some funny ones where they were like, “great, our Hog is a silver dps, gg” and then I solo hard carried them in a diamond lobby. Went against them the next game too and got to whole hog their corpses (once for both of them) after easily wrecking them. I guess silver dps are just built different :person_shrugging:

Tbf I would be on the verge of Tilted at any DPS in Open Queue :sweat_smile: it can work but in the highest Quality matches I have played it is 4 Tanks + Moira.

But aye if you are getting abuse for it then stay Private. I prefer staying out of the Chat.

The only reason private profiles are even a thing is to hide smurfing, how broken the matchmaking is and the lack of people playing the game. They even loosen the MMR for QP with the exact same patch (or maybe it was when role q was added)

I put mine on public. Nobody says anything. If they did, I wouldn’t care. It doesn’t matter.

i have my profile on public but the joke is on people who use it for toxicity since i can’t hear them or see text chat since off
