Delete - Thread is only going to get Toxic

You know, i think it is better for Ana, the one who has to aim and has no survivability, stay behind rein with his sheild, not be able to miss his giant hitbox.
And i would rather the aimlock mercy be healing our spastic ADHD, unhittable genji.

Umm no Reinhardt is not a priority target for healing.

As a GM Mercy player this is my list of who to heal first.

  • Off-Supports
  • DPS
  • Tanks

Reinhardt is not a priority because Brigitte and Zen can keep him alive enough to survive and give me plenty of time in order to top up everyone else before I heal Reinhardt because he takes the longest to heal.

if rein decides to go left while the rest of the team goes right then iam gonna leave the rein out to dry untill he decides to group back up

Genji does not need as much as he used to/ In the old days, everything was about Genji. Now, he is not the same where he needs to constantly spam ā€œI need healingā€.

You should still heal him and then hop back onto Rein, but everything is about balance. Right?

You are basically asking for mercy mains to pocket you when it is not half a good choice as you think.

Then your team and you just threw. Rein cannot always know whats going on behind him. Let him lead, let some dps flank, but go with your dam Rein . (unless he flanking with ult)

What does this even mean? Unless he got Ironclad I have no idea what you are talking about.

perhaps because my duo partner is a Rein main I might be bias but Rein is my priority if we have one along with the second support. as long as everyone is accessible then everyone is gonna get healed tho

So Reinhardt demands a pocket to be any kind of effective

but Mercy players are the ones who are bad

hmmm thinking while flagging this post

No. It is not a case of the Mercy/team throwing. It’s a case of the Reinhardt/you not being a team player.

Flagging a post because you disagree? Thats… terrible

If you do not let your Tanks lead, then there is a problem.

Flagged for being inflammatory actually-- it’s okay to have differing opinions

it’s not okay to be so taxic. have a nice day and good luck in your future endeavors

:vulcan_salute:

Excuse me? This is a debate, hardly anyone here is being toxic. You flagging just because you ā€˜can’ is an abuse of the report system.

Perhaps, but to say it’s throwing is hyperbolic. And silly.

At my Elo keeping the tanks up is a priority, but if we are going Rein/Zarya the Zarya will need more pocketing then the Rein, I also like to go Moria in this comp because the AEO healing works amazing in this tank combo, I pretty much just spam golden orbs and try to keep that AEO on the tanks.

But with his shield Rein goes not need to get nearly as much focused healing as other tanks. Plus just having a healing beam on fully healthy targets is a waste of damage amp.

idk if this is intentional but this post radiates so much negative energy

Saying that people who play X hero have no idea how to play is pretty toxic. It’s definitely the sort of thread that shouldn’t be made.

As a mercy main, I disagree with your assessment of where the beam should be. Off-support is almost always first priority. After that, it’s whoever is most likely to die if the beam isn’t on them. Often times, that is not the guy with a 2000hp shield. But don’t go thinking that I’m neglecting my protection; I just know you can probably survive for 5 more seconds without my help if there isn’t someone inside your shield right this second.
Positioning though, I’d agree with. The whole team should almost always position around the main tank, and Mercy is no exception.
Last… you’re deleting the thread because you started it at the epitome of toxicity… next time, think twice before you post
