So I’m a solo q’ing support main and about 5 days ago my account got suspended because it got ‘‘reported too many times due to abusive chat usage’’ or something like that which is bull because I have both team and match chat turned off the past couple weeks and I never accept any friend requests from people I don’t know so I didn’t say anything in 1-on-1 chats either. Support is supposed to respond to the ticket, in which I kindly asked what my toxic behavior was, within 24 hours but it’s been 5 days and I still haven’t heard anything. This is really just unacceptable because not only will my rank probably decay (and this is the first time I’ve hit Master), I’ve also helped report many toxic people before over the years (I know because I’ve gotten those ‘‘ty for helping make the game a better place’’ messages a lot) which apparently does not seem to matter to blizzard. Also also, how is anyone supposed to ‘‘change their toxic behavior’’ if you don’t even tell them what that ‘‘toxic behavior’’ is?? Oh right, Blizzard small company…

“Hehe, working as intended.”

How can you be reported for abusive chat when you have all chats disabled? They can’t even put a hook in the system that scans whether players have chats even enabled or not for it to make a determination on whether reports of abusive chat are actually relevant or not? What a joke.

That’s what I’m saying, it literally makes 0 sense but “Support” won’t get back to me to tell me what it is I said/did wrong.

Is it possible someone else used your account?

Start calling them by their true name Bli$$ard

 Your first mistake was expecting Blizzard support to do anything.

Blizzard support are the most useless group of people I have ever met in my life, and I know that sounds toxic but it’s not because they do not exist, therefore I am not insulting anyone. Blizzard make it as hard as possible to contact them and then they almost never reply, and if they do they just say “Sorry we cant do anything”.

They have bots instead of people issuing bans.

Yeah it is completely and totally automated. Terrible system. Will they do anything about it? No lmao.

My guess is that you got reported every time you didn’t “heal enough” and a teammate got annoyed that they’re bad at the game. What a joke company.

the report system is massively broken as it cant tell a legit report from a fake…honestly the report system on here is nearly as bad as facebook report system

Fr that might be it since I play a lot of Mercy I get a lot of those comments because people forget that I have a damage-boost beam…

I doubt you didn’t do anything toxic lmao. It’s never your fault. You were totally innocent in all this. Uh huh.

What about beforehand?

It took months to the support respond my ticket about lack of content on my account and they gave me a generic answer. Honestly? Your suspension will end way before you get the feedback

If he had it off for 2 weeks, he’s not gonna get banned for something that happened a month ago. Auto bans work entirely on frequency of reports, and nothing else.

Hmm maybe, but I assume an email would be sent to me if a random/new IP logged into my account as is with most account security?

Was actually asking if they had any warnings before that. Usually you get chat banned first before you’re actually suspended.

It could be for previous reports that didn’t get detected by bots but did from a manual review.

That’s true, yeah. First you could get a warning or two (depends on the frequency, could be 3 or 4), then you get the chat ban, then depending how long until the next action you could just get another chat ban but if it’s fast enough to the next auto action then you would just get suspended.
