Nerfing Moira has only led to her being replaced by Baptiste. Immortality Field is far more frustrating to play against than damage orb could ever be.

Know whatâs funny? Before the double-shield meta, Forum Wisdom said that Moira was a trash-tier healer because âshe has no utility.â Those of us who played Moira in those days had a good laugh over that, and the Overbuff stats backed it up.
Then double-shield happened and suddenly there were cries of âMORIA OPâ despite the fact that it was the same exact Moira that was supposedly âtrash tierâ up until that point. And now Moiraâs been nerfed because of double shield, and sheâs still a solid pick.

The continuous cycle of blaming a character for a meta even with the realization that metas will always change and one or more characters will be a cause of that change.
What people really say when they want to nerf a meta character is more like âIâm bored with this meta, can we get a new one already?â.

Symmetra is literally a SHIELD breaker, and yet they nerfed the hell out of her because she was in âher metaâ
Blizz doesnât know how to balance the actual heroes that are causing the problems
Overall I think the tank patch has helped things, and I donât have a problem playing Moira.

She is still the most picked support for majority of the community. She is still good in most ranks, I really dont see the problem with her not being the best at the very top, while still being good or even the best for most ranks. Im sure many high ranked players are happy to not have to play her / see her much less now.

Since the patch her pick rate has dropped in each rank. Ana has surpassed her in plat and her pick rate drops even further after that.
She will continue to be a decent pick in Bronze-Gold but her nerf has nothing to do with that. The meta shift was all that was needed. As the weeks go by, her pick rate will drop again and she will not be viable at higher ranks again. Low rank players will continue to leverage her ease of design to take advantage of players will poor positioning, game sense, and insufficient aim to out play her.
The game should be balanced around the concept of multiple comps soft-countering each other with the map type giving leverage to certain companies types.
With Baptiste having higher direct healing, group healing, higher damage capability, and more utility than Moira, she really doesnât have anything to offer.

I mean moira was treated unfairly compare to the others at leats in sombra case they tried to balance her and sombra still has EMP who is one of the best ult and hack who is an almost press to win button if used right , same for sym they did try to balance and rework her only her last nerf was overkill and comparable to moira treatment , and same for dva , moira never got their chance they didnt even try
she isnt a solid pick not anymore not by a long shot she is worst than sombra for sure maybe even worst than dva at leat those 2 have utilities to back them up moira has nothing only sym is comparable to moira current state
sym alonside moira are the only heroes to have been treated this way in the game history
depend on your elo , moira is still a noob stomper but no hero should be balanced around stomping noobs and nothing else i play in GM/master its not even close to what she was before double shield this was no small nerf this nerf was a death sentence to her , she went from somewhat niche/outshadowed to legit dumpster
i will never say it enough and i will never stop saying it the majority of the community are low elos , low elos problems should never matter in balancing heroes EVER they are low elo for a reason

no moira mains ever said they wanted her at the top and she never was , double shiled was only her meta because no other healers worked well in it and could survive doom the way she did now she isnt at the âtopâ that she never was in anyway now she is at the bottom , the bottom that she was already close to be in before double shield and that now she is in for sure since her nerfs

i am sure they are happy to have it easy but getting a hero murdered instead of using their high skill player skill to just learn how to deal with her , how is it that me with my moira main skill i can deal with her with almost any heroes on my dps smurf in low GM but those great players canât ?

She offers ease of use. There is a reason why she is still the most picked support when looking at all ranks together. She falls off at the top, like a hero with that kind should, and excels in lower ranks. Thatâs exactly how id like a hero like her to be balanced, and I played her quite a bit due to the meta.

sombra still has EMP who is one of the best ult in OW still and hack who can win fights if used right moira has nothing that other healers canât offer with barely more effort and utility on top of it , stop trying to compare 2 diff heroes
sombra got only 1 deserved nerf to hack which was overpowered and barely counterable and it is still really strong
she never got 5 nerfs she got a rework that made her overall better and even if it didnt at leats they tried reworking her unlike moira
moira got 2 huge nerf to her only forms of value that was her heal and her survival ability her only other valuable perk , and neither moira heal or survival ability were as OP and oppresive as sombra hack
they are 2 diff heroes sombra survived her nerfs hardly because hack was strong enough to still be good after them
moira heal and survival ability were never OP and so when her nerfs came she just died , if i used your logic againts you i could be like âstop complaining moth mercy got 15 nerfs in a row maybe wait until sombra does get just has much before complainingâ moth mercy was Op and deserved all her nerfs outside of the very last one so did sombra to her hack , moira didnt
idk ask genji and tracer when they bullied zen and ana , only reason moira is âautomatedâ is because to counter 1 form of cheat hypermobility you need another
being easy doenst make you balanced or good
we donât mind her falling at the top we mind her dropping face first at the top with no chance of even barely competting
and thats why you should never be on a balance team

or they could have nerfed genji tracer dva mercy and buffed soldier mcree ana lucio and never created moira or brig and the game would not have died.
yes they could have but i understand why they didnt both genji and tracer are impossible to balance
moira was the only balance and justified hero ever created she offered something that was needed without forcing the devs to potential break heroes into oblivion and she never broke the game , she didnt even fulfilled her purpose after coming out that was to help againts dive she only helpt a lil bit against it but she never was enough , its why brig was release
seeing by your icon you play ball , ball as caused more issue to the game than moira has ever done , outside of being frustrating and hurt egos moira has done nothing to the game or the community
brig was released to make the game easier for mercy mains. same geos for moira.
and overwatch died because of it.
