But that’s what Genji one-tricks always do. It’s been like that since Ana was added. They just keep spamming “My ult is charging 12%” because they think only they deserve nano. I specifically pick Ana and nano anyone other than Genji, most often Rein/Winston/Zarya cause they don’t need their ults to get value out of nano.

The problem is there are very solo-oriented characters in Overwatch that make people believe the game is ABOUT them when you win. They’re like that movie star that thinks the movie’s success or failure depended on them and not the writers, the production team, the CGI team, the music team, the art team, the director, the other actors, the venues…
Overwatch needs to figure out whether it wants to be the solo-focused game Valorant is or the team-based shooter it started out as. Since the tank gutting, Blizzard has been on a tear trying to reconfigure the game to be about DPS. Echo’s arrival and the Genjipocalypse are just the latest signs of this.
Blizzard needs to figure out what it wants the game to be and communicate that in clear, concise language.

This is why I’m not playing support as much this season
I love bap and mercy, flex to brig if they have dive heroes. But this season is more like “ana or u throwing” so I’m gonna wait for the nerfs

God, stop making the game more complicated than it needs to be.
In these situations where you think damage boosting or nanoboosting Genji isn’t the right call, are you doing it because you actually believe that or because you want to spite the Genji? Because more often than not, it’s the latter these days. People have been complaining nonstop about how Genji is more powerful than anyone can possibly imagine on these forums, yet you’ll see some of the same people whine about how they don’t want to invest resources into him.
Also, just because it’s your call to make doesn’t mean it’s the right call and your teammates can take issue with a bad call. A Genji might make a call to 1v4 blade the enemy team to clutch the point. It was his call to ult there, but that doesn’t mean it’s good and I’m sure you’d have no problem complaining about it

Especially aggravating when there’s an orisa on the team or a mercy, it’s not like nano is the only damage boost in the game that allows slash n’ dash. In fact supercharger is used with blade in OWL.

A dps asking for resources to be able to do their jobs properly are toxic now???
Wait wait I forgot every other dps can ask for nano damage boost, a pocket and be a polite and nicest team player ever unless its genji. I mean genji mains are always so toxic /s.

To be fair if the genji is at least decent the nano should be used on him most of the time. It’s nearly always a fight win and will force the enemy team to use their ults or just die.

Eh, it’s just bad players, all mains have them. I remember a Widow who was upset because I “never rezzed” her. Would have helped me if she didn’t die high up on some building I couldn’t reach, but that was of less importance.

Support players wonder why people will continuously say “nano me nano me” when they’re just about to ult and most of the time, it is usually one player doing it.
By not nanoing a Genji, you’re pretty much refusing an easy win of a game. I mean if thats your style sure go ahead, but don’t be mad when the Genji is frustrated and when you might lose the game.
Even I, one who has barely played Genji seriously, am able to get 2-3 kills with a Nanoblade just because of how powerful and easy that ultimate combo is.

Why wouldn’t you nano Genji though? Nano blade is the best win condition in the game. Even if the Genji is bad and beat or trans is used, Nano Blade almost always results in at least 2 kills

Probably they learned it from entitled streamers who also play Genji like Surefour. He was whining in a game he didnt get nano and acted so entitled to it, then after people telling this to him in chat he said he’s not gonna educate noobs on this matter or something like that… my point is that this toxicity started to spread from these kind of streamers

If you did it was likely QP and definitely EU servers. I do know of at least one other Sinister who scurries around the US servers and primarily plays Widow, and one who mains support on EU servers (who I bumped into and became friends with a few weeks ago lol)
