Paris is absolutely not 3 times better than Shock lmao

Genji is overtuned- his ult just charges so, so fast now and it’s too good to be granted so often.

wow he killed a single support hero with his ultimate that didnt get buffed at all? I guess he really is busted. Thank you for changing my mind on the topic, ill be sure to spread the message.

Well yeah when you have a character with a extremely strong ult, an overpowered synergy with nano to blow through every defensive check in the game on top of being the best duelist in the game as well as having mobility it tends to be quite disgustingly overpowered. But Blizz doesn’t really care, it looks flashy.

Part of the ultimate balance is its charge speed. Mercy valk or Bapt matrix are somewhat weak, but it’s counter-balanced by how fast they charge. Graviton or Flux are extremely powerful - and it’s reflected by their charge speed.

Charge speed doesn’t exist in vacuum either - it’s decided by how much damage/healing character can deal reliably. Somebody please send Blizz that part, because they keep ****ing it up.

So ultimate charge rate should reflect both the ult power and the speed at which that charge gets farmed. Now let’s look at those 2 parameters of Genji…

…aaaand go back to demanding nerfs to an objectively OP hero. DB WAS buffed by his overall damage increase. It was also buffed by deflect becoming cancellable, meaning Genji can defend himself that more effectively under focus. Neither of those buffs should have happened for one of best DPS ults in the game.

I mean the casters seem like they pee their pants every time Genji kills people.

They think Genji helps with viewership, so they’re doing their best to buff him and hype him up.

well most sane genji main allready he need ult charge nerf in between 10-20%

but most people in these forum rather him to gutted like removing dash reset, ult become 4 sec, reducing its damage… i just LOL

also dragon blade is not that good alone… but it becomes 3 times better with nano

so maybe ult charge nerf and rework nano

50% damageboost 50% defenseboost
into
30% damage boost, 30% defenseboost, 30% fire rate increase (so it will more usefull to other target like hitscan

It’s not that bad either - something I’ll struggle so say about most other DPS ults. Putting aside EMP and replicate, pretty much all DPS ults can be screwed much harder than DB can.

It was never “one of the best” by virtue of being amazing or lacking counterplay - it’s just competition is usually far worse. Which, at least so far, worked rather well for balancing purposes.

sure i can agree dragonblade can have most impact compared most dps ult

but also have the most risk if not use with nano
he has to be in enemy teritory at melee range
1 buble or 1 immortality field / any forms of cc will deny any genji ult long enouigh to make your able to kill him

soldier and mcree ult might be trash, but he can use it behind shield or far away from enemy, so he dont really in danger

even reaper ult is more trash than blade… i can boost genji as mercy and he does not even need a nano to kill the whole team…

I would rather watch a Mercy get a teamkill with valk because they buffed her in the last patches so hard…

Genji? Pls its nothing worth watching. I have that in every game I play right now… on BOTH SIDES! It gets old when its common and nothing special anymore.

Than you must be a top 500 player when you see plays like the ones in owl in your regular games. I never see blades and ghost dash kills like the ones in owl in my master games.

Well that was the only hero left on the field, SS was on cooldown, and she was contesting the point out of range. So he popped Blade and killed her, and he still had Blade for the next teamfight, too.
