As a support main, just nerf it back to 15%. Otherwise burst healing supports will need to be nerfed across the board if they remove the passive outright.
Requires aim and it isn’t infinite.
Just put more effort into dealing more damage as a support.

Also supports aren’t being driven away at al least of all by dps passives.
If they don’t remove the passive trickle-healing supports need to be buffed across the board Just get rid of the passive and balance the role. You have to balance it either way.
Also get rid of the support passive while we’re at it. It’s stupid.

They need to change how it’s applied. It is completely nonsensical that you can still force more support resources (time, ammo and attention) by tickling people from lightyears away. Abilities like dynamite applying the DPS passive for 7 full seconds in an AoE is also absurd.
If they’re going to copy Paladins, they might as well do it in full. Give everyone the DPS passive and only make it be able to applied with your primary. Or add some sort of damage threshold to trigger it, jesus. They keep going back and forth on their stance on the DPS passive, so clearly it has issues.

Has anyone who’s ever blamed their death on -20% healing recieved or the S9 hitbox changes ever considered the likelihood that they still would have died in that situation without the Damage Passive/Hitbox changes in effect.

I think 20% is the right number. At 15% everything felt too tanky.
As one who have mained dps before support got busted, I’d say that I don’t want to have any “passives” in dps kits but self-healing. Better give damage increase with hitting consecutive shots on the target or something like that, this is dps conditional-passive for the role, not the value reduction for another role. This encourages better play compared to free passive value that only encourages spamming.
Many times i could have saved a teammate if the dps passive wasn’t a thing.
And i noticed that i had to start playing more passively to stay alive. As suddenly i died much faster than i used to.
(And these observations were made right after the changes, so the comparison was fresh)

Healing feels so terrible. I’ll be healing someone and they die less than a second. I’ll heal people and they get mad and spam, “heal me.” In QP I just start DPSing when they do that. They don’t understand my healing sucks when they have the DPS passive on. Also, all the projectiles are too large. I wish they just tweaked our healing rather than do this nonsense.

There isn’t a passive in the game that requires brains or thought and isn’t easy to apply, if it isn’t applied automatically in the first place. I mean, that’s what a “passive” is.
But that doesn’t mean you don’t have a fair point in terms of disliking how that particular passive affects the game.
Personally, I’m not a fan of it either. As a DPS main myself, it seems to do more in terms of frustrating the other roles than it does to make playing DPS more enjoyable. I literally never think to myself, “I need to apply my passive to the other team” during gameplay. It just happens automatically. But for me, like just as an example, as an Ashe player, it still feels he same… I need to double headshot most targets if I wanna close the kill, period. Or if they are lower HP at that moment, I need to land a shot or two, but they aren’t gonna die simply because of the passive anyway…
I’d rather have a passive of just like a 3% higher mobility or something like that. That would at least allow me to outrun a Tank a little more often.
The alternative would be perma healing reduction, do you want it instead?
Healing should be to give someone an extra second or two to get back into cover, not to keep them alive under bullet hails.
deleting the dps passive means lifeweaver becomes a usable hero again and i speak for everybody when i say WE do not want that
