Delete Soldier 76 From The Game

He is Useless.

At long range you’d take Ashe or Widow over him. At short range, McCree is better.

Hanzo is better in absolutely every situation.

Why is Soldier 76 still a hero? Armor destroys his usefulness and His Helix rocket isnt even burst. Its just a worse version of a Hanzo M1 on a longer CD.

Just Delete him.

Might be interesting to give S76 the ability to have lower damage homing rocket with a 8s cd.

But the catch being it can be shot out of the air.

S:76’s primary has problems punching through armor, but it still fares better than several other weapons which shoot more bullets with less damage per bullet. Helix Rockets not only serve as a finishing burst against low-health heroes, but also can be used to remove armor as an initial attack against tanks. Since his last accuracy buff, Soldier has all of the tools that he needs to be an effective damage-dealer. The problems remaining lie elsewhere.

Soldier’s healing field has a really long cooldown. The length of that cooldown could be reduced. His ability to heal is the one thing in his kit that makes him truly unique among the other damage heroes, and buffing that ability would increase the uptime of his high sustained damage output, increasing his total damage dealt per game without actually buffing the damage itself.

He’s pretty bad. Whenever I see him on my time, I wish they’d choose somebody more effective at any part of being a dps.

Soldier: 76 is best at medium range, not long range.
Why are you even trying to snipe with him?

He has his running ability which he can use to put himself into the preferred position or range quickly.

His ult basically gives him aimbots.

How is Soldier: 76 useless?

this is sadly the case for hanzo vs almost all of the DPS roster

Except Sombra and Pharah.

A hacked Hanzo is extremely limited in what he can do.

Sniping on ground is a bit easy since there’s only a need to predict enemies on a 2D scale. Add Pharah, she’s much harder to hit as Hanzo since the Hanzo needs to predict where Pharah may move on a 3D scale.

If you’re hacking the hanzo…
mmm
It’s like hacking a Widow in that regard, they can’t escape, but that just means they’ll shoot you instead.
Hanzo doesnt need fan the bow to instantly delete a hero that’s within 10 meters of him.

Pharah is also laughable, it’s a bit inconsistent, but still relatively easy to hit her as Hanzo with his regular fire.
Ever since his projectile speed increase anyway.

Soldier 76 and McCree are probably the two most-needing-buffs heroes. Right now every other DPS outclasses them by a wide margin. When Hanzo’s an option, there’s no reason to ever go McCree. When Ashe’s an option, there’s no reason to ever go Soldier.

A hacked Hanzo has no mobility, and is reduced to damage over long range. Storm bow is best at close range, so taking this away from him when he needs it the most is always an advantage for Sombras.

A lot of people find it much harder to hit a target in the air than on the ground, especially if you have bullet drop.

The effective range of hanzo was increased drastically when they buffed his projectile speed, He’s stupid powerful at close range, but his long range was also buffed by making him more consistent without compensating it with an arrow hitbox nerf.

If you hack a hanzo, you should die.
You will be within line of sight due to hack requiring it, and he has the chance to see you coming via sonar arrow.

For the third time, his projectile speed increase has made this less of an issue.
Having trouble? Storm arrow and just spam all 6 at her, hope for the best.

Calling for the deletion of a hero is not constructive feedback. Locking this thread.
