Delete mauga from the game and remove any evidence of his existence. I just can’t believe it. He is so overbuffed it’s actually dumb, I can’t even dive anybody without him absolutely rolling me. Can’t even attempt to kill the support that’s just feeding him everything cause him and his DPS will just smoke me. I can’t even tell my DPS to dive the support either cause he’ll just smoke them too. And don’t even mention his charge and his ability to turn so easily. Also the fact he can’t even get hooked or anything while charging when all he is is just pure meat. Why can reinhardt who is made with pure metal get hooked but this dude with no clothing and no armor not get hooked. And I don’t even understand why they just buffed Mauga out of nowhere, In my opinion he seemed fine before the midseason patch. His charge distance is actually hilarious given the ability to control it so well. Like blizzard actually has to be trolling, at what point did they think adding a dude with TWO miniguns was a good idea and the fact that he can charge in any direction so easily and absolutely slam the living hell out of anybody like a mini rein shatter. I actually can’t believe they thought this guy wouldn’t become so OP out of nowhere. Literally the only way to win against him is to dive his support and if your DPS can’t do that then call it gg, or your best bet would be an ana and good comms but you know there is always that one guy who is never in VC. I would rather play against hog one shot then play against him cause at least you can play around a hook, Mauga just quite literally is the hook and chases you if you try and get away. Such a trash hero design, I absolutely cannot believe it.

As a person with many, many rants petitioning for the removal of Life Grip (it’s a terrible ability and no, I will not stop trashing it, it deserves the dumpster), I want to remind you of something fun we can do on the forums.
It’s this. A break between sentences. Aka separating your post into paragraphs. It’s easier to read. Also lets you more powerfully make points since it gives an easy to follow structure for the reader.
I’m torn. Delete Mauga then Sombra, or delete Sombra then Mauga. Such hard decisions.
Or perhaps Blizzard could just stop making such terrible heroes and the game would be a lot more fun?
I heard mauga was good again. And immediately I knew this back half isn’t for me. I genuinely think mauga is the easiest hero in the game. Easy than moira and way easier than mercy. He’s only hard because tanking is hard. But as a hero he’s always he most braindead hero in the game.
Mauga is pretty much in all comps in OWWCS games. Says it all. Mirror matches EVERYWHERE
Yeah I didn’t like him meta in release. No reason I’d like him meta now. So definitely not playing until then.
Yeah and the funny thing is they nerf Reaper before Mauga, because Mauga enables him.
Yeah I’m not tanking until he’s nerfed. And I’ll never touch him as a tank player. Thing is even though the comps were disgusting for the majority of the teams it’s not their fault. The balancing put them into these picks with the incompetency of their balancing.
Nu.age tried to fight the Mauga comp and made a good fight of it, but ultimately lost. And when you see an ulting Reaper doing ZERO damage to Mauga-there is something seriously wrong. Even though that team lost by not being a meta slave, they were gigachads by at least trying something different.
It was tiring for me to read that blob but from what I gather they do not like Mauga and would rather he not exist in the game. The rest was just complaining about why he does not enjoy playing against Mauga.
I’d touch him if his gameplay was engaging. But it’s a not. It’s just shoot two machine guns and press one button for cardiac. If you can’t live run away. And his ult is just more shooting his guns. He’s visually so cool. And shooting two massive chain guns should be fun. But I just fine him so boring.

I mean he’s not wrong. The buffs he got put us back to where we were before, and it’s ruined the OWWCS games. I’m seeing so many people switching off and I’m not surprised. When you see enemy players ulting right beside him and he takes no damage-there’s a slight issue there lol.

Exactly, I have zero interest in those sort of hero’s. Some people say Rein requires zero skill and is a braindead hero, when it’s actually not true at all. If they want examples of zero skill and massive reward-Mauga is the correct answer

He is incredibly good for a brawl tank. All you need is a turret form bastion, mauga’s cardiac overdrive, and now you have an unkillable dps storm

I think they just need to disincentivize parking yourself in front of the enemy tank and going “BRRRRRR!” Maybe dual-firing does less damage per gun or something.
Mauga needs to have the mechanics of his kit reapproached.
