DELETE Hero Pools, Faster balancing already fixed the problems why we wanted Hero Bans in the first place.

We wanted Hero bans to stop stagnating meta’s cause balancing came through slow and we could do something about it ourselves.

There is no need for Hero Pools if you guys are determined to patch faster now like you have been.

You guys waited so long to do something and now threw way too much stuff at the problem while one or the other would have been suffice.

The problem is that alresdy they show that they are terrible balancing the game.

Maybe If blizzard says that they will remove hero bans a and get a full new balance team…

I mean Ana still has a 100% pick rate when she is not banned so it clearly did not fix anything.

And YOU clearly don’t know why we wanted Hero Bans in the first place.

When the talk was rampant about Hero Bans was when we where locked in a double shield meta for so long. People just wanted to be able to Ban Orisa.

Either You Balance faster against Meta’s like they have been doing with the shield nerfs or you do Hero Pools. But both is extremely unnecesary.

What faster balancing? What was fixed? There are still countless imbalance problems that have been around for going on 5+ months now.

then you wanted hero pools/bans for the wrong reason. bans were meant to force shifts in meta without effective balance.

I hate hero bans, especially for Tanks and Supports. There aren’t enough in those categories to warrant bans for them, it’s just restricting player choice every week and it’s causing unbalanced games for DPS players. Their mains are banned one week so they drop, then destroy lower levels the following week because they can play Widow again or whatever.

Comp has been miserable since they introduced it.

They are still not addressing the balance either. Widow and McCree gets banned again but do they get a nerf? No let nerf tanks again.

Well.

You have a product that needs a speific variables to work fine, also you have dara of how the users are using the product… maybe you can have a better feedback shstem to.

Or also you can have a better balance strategy. On lol for example they but a bug balance patch each month and two weeks later they put a small patch to fix what the big balance patch break.

Anywah I only can say that on ow we had to play

  • 1 year of only dive
  • 1 year of only goats
  • 6 months of no mercy = no win
  • 6 months of hanzo,zarya and mercy combo with no counter
  • 6 months of double shield
  • 2 years of pharahmercy abusers on console high ranks.

As software develop i never will make that the users of my products have to use a broken version of my software for like 6 months.

First You have to understand that the main problem with the balance is not one meta or a specifict hero. The Real problem is that on ow we have to play the same meta for like 6 months.

Another problem on ow is that they dont have the balance as first priority on the developer strategy.

Nah, this was exactly the reason why most people were nagging about hero Bans (not pools, which Blizz decided to implement instead).

People released that if Blizz is gonna keep being this slow with balancing against Meta’s then why not give us a tool to handle the problem ourselves.

If Blizz just kept Patching regurlarly against Meta’s (although they clearly had a problem doing this in goats by trying to buff everything instead of Nerfing the actual problems in the first place) then there never would have been such an outcry for Bans.

The theory behind Pools and Bans is also completely different.
