So can someone tell me what “diff” means? I don’t see it on console B/C we have no chat option.

lets create a scenario
scenario 1. your symmetra and your team is losing, when you lose someone would maybe say “dps diff” meaning that you and your other dps sucked and were “throwingish” while the enemy team had a good pair of dps.
scenario 2. your symmetra and the enemy is running a symmetra and your team is losing, your team lost the match and what would maybe your support/tank/dps say? “sym diff” meaning their sym was better then you
“x diff” is toxic, so dont use it

Let’s say for example you want to make a joke and see someone potentially grouped up and you’re grouped up too and want to display dominance, but friendliness. So you say “simp diff” at the end of the match to establish a bond between men. That’s acceptable. So it’s not always toxic.
“Diff” is used with a role or character - for example, “tank diff” or “Lucio diff” - to show to the world that you’re a bad loser or even sometimes, a bad winner. I hope this helps, OP!
