Defence matrix needs to have an actual cooldown

her boosters help her get to health packs faster than any other tanks she doesn’t need a constant damage mitigation ability with no down time, I’m sick of only ever shooting at the DM because it doesn’t have a real cooldown

Sadly, I am going to have to disagree. She would be kinda useless unless the CD is super short. It’s annoying though.

I don’t think she needs infinite ammo. I think she needs DM.

It literally does have downtime.

Diva is pretty much a constant healing target (like pumping heal non - stop into her) in most of my games. She needs her matrix to be able to be a tank.

It has an downtime, it used to have a cooldown, it felt horribly weak and far too situational, if you think D.M is too strong, just reducing its charge-rate/duration would fix the problem.

I for one think it is too strong, because most tanks are too strong and if i were to pick something to nerf on D.va’s kit, D.M is def on the top of the list, but thats another story.

DM used to have an actual cooldown, and dva was outright the worst hero in the game.

Dva, right now, is weak.

D.va is definetly not weak, overshadowed by easier tanks? maybe.

Even then shes the best tank vs fliers and high burst damage characters like Rat, Reaper and Bastion.

Dva is absolutely weak, there is no reason to pick her over any tank that isnt junker queen.

Her ability to deal damage was overnerfed, and she is back to being a DM bot, and being a DM bot is not enough in 5v5.

Shes only sightly below Winston, because shes harder, but shes still much better than Winston vs Reaper, Bastion , Pharah, Junkrat, etc.

Tank balance is as follows in my books :

  1. Hog
  2. Orisa
  3. Ramattra
  4. Winston
  5. Sigma
  6. D.va
  7. Doom
  8. Rein
  9. Zarya
  10. Queen
  11. Ball

Shes middle of the pack at the very least.

He is, even played on Pro-scene, then on ladder hes the easiest tank to play, only has a few bad matchups like Orisa/Sigma but counters much of the rest of the tank cast or is at the very least even.

They’re right though, Hog is still the best. Whole Hog is also one of the only reliable ways to murk an Orisa, which solidifies his spot considering how good she is right now. I’d put Sigma over Winston rn though, especially given the current map pool. Sigma Royal is real.

So you’re saying I’m bad then? Kuz I have a 38% win rate playing her this season. Getting carried by my Ball and Sigma though.

Possibly, you’re possibly not playing her into the right comps/maps or just playing badly, its always a possibility.

Gotta review your games to know though.
