I really think it’s a reasonable nerf. They can still oneshot, but less oppressive.
Hanzo can’t oneshot 250 hp heroes now. But he still can kill quickly with Headshot+One Storm Arrow Bodyshot. You know it really don’t make any sense when he oneshots Reaper in close range.
He has to fully charge his arrow to oneshot 200 hp heroes.
Widowmaker should keep 2.5 Headshot multiplier.
So she can still oneshot 250 HP heroes, but needs full charge.
She also deals less damage to tanks. Their head hitboxes are way too big. 300 is too much if you ask me.
She needs more than %67 charge if she wants to oneshot 200 HP heroes.
Imagine asking for a Hanzo base damage nerf… he is projectile not a hitscan. If anyone only Widow should get this base damage nerf but i don’t think she deserves more than reducing her hp to 150.
I think the problem that we run into is that there’s VERY little middle ground when it comes to snipers, widow especially. When they’re good, they’re really good. And when they’re bad, there are other heroes that do similar jobs better.
Personally, think Hanzo is kind of dumb at the moment though.
Not even remotely. That’s basically +1 shot for body shots, and the charge time for head shots would take forever, while not being a threat to tanks at all.

You want a fair nerf then it’s reducing her HP to allow for enemies to sneak on her and confirm the kill unless you want what the forums are asking to gut and throw her in the trashcan.
Agreed. Look what happened to Brig. Those that didn’t learn how to play around her yelled and screamed, and she ended up in the trash can along with Bastion and Junkrat.
Tbh, they could use a fire rate nerf but a quick-scope buff. Any headshot should instakill a squishy, but you should only get one chance per couple seconds.
Skill shots shouldn’t be so spammable, but skill should be rewarded fully.

And which show’s why devs never should take these kind of threads seriously where platchat tries to suggest worst nerfs for heroes who doesnt need any.
They also, already nerfed hanzo in ptr. Ya’ll are so spoiled so stop friiking complaining about it.
Plus, snipers are meant to headshot you & you’re meant to kill on this game, is it that much of a suprise to people?
Widow and Hanzo’s pickrate in the Owl are dropping. Both of them are fine statistically on ladder. The devs won’t give in to your foolish demands,or at least I hope not.
