Most people thought this was gonna be echo, but it could still be Athena. I’m still holding onto the fact she might become a support again. I loved her too much but I’m glad people have fun with 3.0 as well

The girls, the gays and echo must manifest support/off healing Sym into existence and for her to be viable in OW2 
On a more serious note all the new heroes have them, sigma has them I’m sure bap has them. I REALLY hope my girl becomes a support again, I miss her a lot

I have a feeling they would never add back old mechanics, at least exactly as they were, because it gives people reasons to complain and want them back outside of PvE.
Just imagine how many Mercy threads there would be if she got Mass Res in PvE. I have a feeling they know what would happen… Lol

What if they are for overwatch 2? Because no one will care balance wise for PvE because its against bots. Since they will share the new engine, they probably tied the voicelines to their files before hand

But why bother casting voicelines for one talent more than 2 years prior to the game becoming playable? On a hero that has already been hinted to get another rework before the game launces? Anything for this is speculation I doubt anything can be considered “likely” at this point. I just hope she gets it back. As a real abilitiy.

I mean if it’s true, OW2 was in development since 2017 which is when Shield Gen was a thing, and something they want to keep for future uses. For example maybe Sanjay uses Symmetras tech for himself or some crap xD
But really like you said all this is just speculation
This is never gonna happen.
They already tried to create it. They stopped because they already deleted parts of pre-reworked heroes. They’re focusing on OW2 right now, so creating OWC isn’t a priority. There’s no reason they couldn’t give it another shot post-OW2 launch.
