What they did to your hero is just sad, I feel terrible watching my Hog hook the Sombra and fail to one shot her, not because he messed up but because he quite literally can’t anymore. It’s like watching an old dog try to play fetch with you but it just can’t move like the puppy it still feels like it is.
You will always have a place at the table of Brig/Doomfist/Mei mains aka. The Unplayables.

Also you are right about hog. Soon as they announced these changes I knew this would be the end result. I know Blizzards method far too well and can recognize their intentions. They always go overboard with buffs then nerf them to a worse state than pre buffs.
Mercy, Mei, Junkrat, McCree, Gengu to a degree I guess etc etc. I think they do this stuff intentionally at this point. Normally you’d think they tried a buff, it turned out to be too much, revert and try something else right? Nope, overbuff and then overnerf.
I don’t even understand why they buffed him in the first place. He’s arguably my favourite tank, but before his buffs, he still would have been incredible in this meta. DPS nerfs, next to no shield tanks in sight to stop his hook etc. Sure buffed hog could burst tanks down faster in general. But the damage buff didn’t really add anything to his kit for avid hog players, as they were already doing that just fine.
They buffed him to make sure shields are gone. Then realized without shields doublesniper happens. So they nerfed him without reverting his previous nerfs.
that is why i am playing borderlands 3, fl4k is so much fun, fl4k has not been butchered so that is fantastic
funny enough i am a former brig main(when she was balanced not when she was OP), former orisa main…if i main someone for a bit they are going to get nerfed into the ground
