Dear devs, as Mercy main stop wasting time & fix stuff

You really love to point fingers and call names to people when they disagree. Let me say this…if Im a mercy I wont go now to the front line to heal a tank, Ill stay with a soujurn far away as they do not need to run around as a genji. So for many, staying in the back pocketing from cover will add more chances of survival than healing at the front.

Please nobody told anything about you or judged you. If you complain about childish forums do not behave like one and respect people that disagree explaining your point of view. We …or better you (as I do not plan to return to play this game) will test it and see how it is and who was right or wrong, but seriously nothing you said seems feasible in the time Ive played as mercy or other characters in the game.

You sure about that? Because they only said they removed her old passive: Regeneration. A passive she specifically had to regen health passively faster than other supports. Without it, why would the regular support healing passive not work on her anymore?

Edit: Even without the passive, pocketing is more reliable since the idea you have to heal your own health off someone isn’t reliable if everyone but you is full health.
However, people that go off the main trail have health packs around. Even without the passive, Mercy’s will be reliant on following their DPS as those same DPS take off paths and those off paths almost always have health packs.

I think, surely Im wrong that the same people (the same one posting over and over ) flooding the forums is considered spam. Which is what happened for some of them, not the content of such posts. We all have seen too many posts lately with mercy hate, some of doubtful taste and calling names that were not flagged at all.

Some ppl were making rage bait threads against mercy mains sure, but a lot of threads that were merely discussing her mobility and db were also flagged for “spam”.

And now mercy is nerfed and the mercy mains and spamming xD

Go for it. Your loss. This new mercy will benefit a ton from healing targets below 50% health which means not pocketing a single player and hopping from person to person. But you do you.

I do not mind when people disagree with me. It just annoys me when people try to argue with 0 logic and have major problems admitting they were wrong about something, which is way too many people on these forums. Something overwatch does to the psyche of the average person.

At least on paper, it’s just factual that the mercy changes are trying to push her away from solo pocketing, as she gets so much value from not doing that. It’s possible it may play out different in the actual game, but imo unlikely.

You can pocket someone from a distance, but the moment someone dives you, you’re going to be forced out of it, because like I said, your survivability is significantly worse when you’re using dmg boost and not healing a target.

Regeneration is the name of her personal passive, a unique passive that only Mercy has. In all fairness, it is not the best name. Kek.

But it existed before the support passive and the Devs thought it was interesting and based the idea to make the support passive. So it was basically the cornerstone to supports getting passive healing.

To be blunt, if they remove her ability to passively heal entirely then the devs are trolling. (More than they already are.) It was there from the beginning for a reason and the changes which contradict two different playstyles will annoy everyone that likes playing Mercy and the DPS that have to play against her.

Care to explain how you think “below 50%” is gonna work?

damage amp wasnt nerfed.

Soj/boosted dmg is liek 75%+ of a non tank’s hp.
snipers can 1 shot.

doesnt matter how much you can heal if udner 50% when if someone is at 50% they are at risk of being deleted in 1 shot.

and OW2 is a game with bursts of dmg not steady amounts of it.
