Look I get it, bugs are probably harder to fix than we realise but really ? Nerfing hog ? He was already in a pretty bad spot and you nerf him with a bug fix that most people wouldn’t even realise as a bug.
Meanwhile Doomfist has been a buggy mess since his release, every patch since fixing like 10 plus but even how he still has like 40 others. One of which letting him punch and dive through hogs ult, something I remember actually being fixed in a previous patch and making it back in a later one.
Mercy damage boosting Hanzo and Dva’s ultimates was apparently a bug. The former being literally meta defining ! I need to stress that we had a meta based on a bug that existed since LAUNCH. It took them 2 years to fix that, and we almost had a similar thing again with Hammond’s drop off damage bug.
The point is that these fixes need to come out wayyyyyyy sooner than they are. The same goes for balance changes but I would rather have the game be more stable first.

If you want the bugs fixed ASAP, the best thing you can do is tell the Dev team how to replicate them (video evidence is super helpful) so they can understand exactly what’s broken and how to fix it, with a good example being Hammonds Piledriver bug which was fixed recently due to video evidence posted on the bug forums.
In either case, Blizzard puts things like boosting Hanzo’s ult under bugfixes not because it’s a bug, but because it’s an unintended interaction.
Thats what I still don’t get. If it was unintended, why did they leave it in for so long? Surely there was some time to devote to that after 2 years. Imo they only patched it out because Mercy became a problem, instead of fixing it on-release as it should have been.
Probably because it was never an issue beforehand and removing that interaction was a cleaner way of nerfing the Grav/Dragon wombo than nerfing the actual ability itself, which is pretty balanced outside that wombo.
Things are usually fixed in relation to their urgency, and before his rework, Hanzo had literally never been an issue in terms of balance.
Omfg dude that IS massive. I’m actually worried now. Hog was one of the only tanks left that I enjoyed. He took skill, but now it just looks like he’ll take luck.
Ok small explanatory side tangent, Hog is nothing. He is a tank at most only to bodyblock and feed. He’s not a spammer, heavy damage dealer, or even a melter at this point. The most he can do is get lucky and disrupt one person, who may just get pocketed, shielded, or will have an ability that gets them out safe. Hog is actually dead until further notice. RIP pig.
