Instead of all these posts about this game has this many people or people are watching this on Twitch, why not just post some actual information about the game?
You clearly want Overwatch to die if you’re posting numbers, so why not actually try to convince people to play the other game instead of saying “look guys look!”
New thing → people look at new thing → people try new thing → people go back to what they were doing before.

It is pretty different from Overwatch though.
But it is weird that they call their characters “heroes” considering the aesthetic and vibe. Like, they really couldn’t come up with something else like League and Valorant?

Deadlock is almost a guaranteed success because Valve.
That said I dont think its even competing with OW. Overwatch is a shooter with incredibly light moba elements. Deadlock is quite literally the inverse with it being so MOBA first.

Of all the games that could challengw ow valves was the one i thought had the best chance. With that being said.
If its pc only its doomed to fail.
Their first version was closer to overwatch called neon prime then they pivoted to 1940 look, ithink the heroes is a place holder and will change

I thought this too, but now. I’m not so sure. Majority of Valve’s fanbase (HL franchise fans, and TF fans) seems to dislike it, and deem it dead on arrival, just like Marvel Rivals.
I think the game’s gonna go through lots of changes.

Except this game is currently having players with 100s hrs without even being announced for beta and people begging to get invite and it’s clocking this average player number and growing.
Those are some seriously impressive numbers for a game that hasn’t even released into closed beta yet!
What are the system requirements?
That’s probably one of the biggest things Overwatch has going for it is that you can run it on a low end PC!
Looking at the gameplay it looks exactly like TF2?

its like a third person dota, honestly. my friends who got in were excited to try it since it bills itself as a cross between moba and hero shooter but in practice it’s more moba than hero shooter
Nobody cares about viewer numbers or playercounts unless they’re looking out for whether a game is dead or not. It’s meaningless to talk about how many people are playing a game that isn’t available if you aren’t gonna actually talk about the game itself.
It is meaningful in this case cause this game isn’t even announced yet and getting traction with sustainable playercount already.
That’s the point we don’t even know how the game is after last leaks and it’s secretly chugging along with increasing player numbers, aren’t curious.
I’m more hoping someone here has a invite playing already and can offer some insight.

It’s a Valve made game, of course it’s gonna be popular. That certainly doesn’t automatically mean it’s gonna be good though, no it does not lol
Whew all I’m saying is something is happening if people are already playing a game continuously with zero release announcement and just worst of mouth.
We don’t if it’s good or bad untill we can play, but here is the thing someone here may already be playing and can offer insight or get invite from a friend of theirs etc.
Which is what I’m expecting to see if someone can provide further insight.
