I was playing a match as Lucio at Route 66, second zone, and a bizarre situation happened: I went up stairs and caught Junkrat just activating his Ultimate (RIP-Tire). I managed to shoot him dead. Then very soon after I got killed from behind by his RIP-Tire, that is, Junkrat, even in death, managed to normally control his remote bomb!!
This is Beyond Absurd, Blizzard, and gets even worse: I learned later by a colleague that Junkrat can also detonate his remote mines too after death until respawning.
Extinguish ALLL of this! Junkrat should NOT be able to be a Ghost. Dead is dead. As for RIP-Tire, I suggest instead to just keep it active when Junkrat dies but aimless, blowing up at the first obstacle it hits.

I havenât heard someone complain about such a small detail in a while, especially JunkratâŠ
It really isnât that big of a deal. Thing only has 100 HP, glows red, and is loud as heck

Why⊠?
Junk isnt even nearly a ptoblem at all. He can be annoying but he is far from oppressive.

And is 1-hit kill too. BIG deal, yes.

So is D.Vaâs bomb but youâre not complaining about it so I donât see an issue

Ultimates should not be able to kill you? Especially one as easily cancelled as Junkrat?
Mmm okay. Suuuure.

This has happens 30% of the times I kill junkrat while heâs ulting, normally this would bother me more than it does but I donât find junk most times when heâs ulting so the ridiculousness of it is eventually forgotten until they day it happens again and it has happened a few times actually. I believe it is ridiculous and probably should not have been way, however finding junk is too rare for this bother me overall.

I hate some things about him. 10 seconds ultimate its an idiot thing, 6 seconds would be enough. I cannot understand how people see junkrat gameplays and think that look up for 15 minutes spamming 120 dmg bombs in corners is a cool thing. His bombs damage is high, his explosives mines damage are high and 80 damage for a 4 seconds stun is pretty high. If I could change something, I would make his bombs jump just once, stopping his idiot spam. Iâm done with spams at this game, just ridiculous.

Trying to kill people after his own death is literally Junkratâs official passive ability, lol, so I doubt weâll see it changed:

you see, Junkrat is actually the person with the biggest brain in the OW universe, he has found a way to transfer his mind into the rip-tire whenever he wants, even when he is dead his mind lives on until the rip-tire is destroyed.

Because anyone good at Junkrat isnât doing this.
Sincerely, a guy with 2000 hours on Junkrat

I thought that was what this was going to be about.
Even after 2000 hours of Junkrat, Iâm still surprised at how bad some people are at dealing with him.
i mean it would make sense but junkrat isnt really a broken op hero at this moment. this would be a pretty substantial nerf in my opinion and he would need to have some sort of compensation buff
Pro tip: In that situation you should shoot the tire, not Junk.
When you destroy the tire Junk doesnât immediately regain control of his movement so you have time to kill both the tire and Junk without any chance of the Junk stopping you. But only if you kill the tire first.

Junkrat doesnât control the tire, the tire itself (AKA, us) goes and does its own thing. The man himself just pulls the engine before closing his ears.

He became the wheel, makes sense.
If you are McFanTheHammer or played McFanTheHammer in that situation, sorry I donât feel any pity for you
Itâs a remote controlled tyre bomb according to OW wiki. Ghosts canât use analogue sticks

Yet we donât see Junkrat control the tire at all, the tire controls itself (Which in game wise, itâs us.).

Er⊠It isnât controlling itself, itâs remote controlledâŠ
Thatâs like launching a remote controlled plane into the air, putting the controller down and saying âthe universe is controlling it nowâ.
Except it isnât, because the plane would just crash and be useless.
