You think a pro team would simply have a second mouse of precisely the same spec ready at hand…
Not to mention it is adding more time to the token clock…
They do have a second mouse. This seems to be a critical issue with the driver of the mouse.

Doesn’t the token clock stop 105 minutes after the last match begins? Or did I make this up out of nowhere?

Can’t blame them. The stage is still setup for game mode, so they are not giving up yet. But we may have to give up on the Bren/Corey widow 1v1
