Dafran went from Unranked (silver start) to Grand Master in 4 hrs

He went 22-2 just playing Soldier.

1009 elims, 168 deaths
Avg 6.8 death per 10 min
39.00 elims per 10 min.

His Game sense and pin point accuracy as well.

The guy is a beast.

No but wait he totally would have been given unwinnable games since he climbed too quickly

Just to clear up the silver start stuff, being it already made for rabble rabble in the other thread on this topic.

He did not throw into silver etc and climb out. He just took a 100% new account, went into placements having never done them on the account before and the first few games where against just placement players too. Odds are some where rather low rank.
Yet he was up and out, facing plats by game 4, diamonds in placement game 5 and after that he was up into masters and he placed 3.5k+.

some of his games were just ridiculous. Like 84% kill participation and he pretty much just dumpster’ed everyone in every game.

It really pointed out how lame the current 3-3 meta was for stage one of OWL, so we never got to see Dafran really get let loose on a pure DPS role.
We got a few flashes of torb and just a bunch of Zarya.

Exactly. I wanted to see a really good Top 500 go really hard at all levels. Usually they just mess around, and take forever after getting placed in Gold or Plat or something. I watched all 10 of his placements games.

In his stream his intent was to go really hard, no mercy (pun intended). Gives you a good indicator of how good you really are.

Its a pro with a smurf, why is a beast? because he take advantage of people who is trying to rank up?
Why just dont keep playing in his rank?

The queue times on his main were getting pretty long and I assume the guy was getting bored. So he bought a new account and just went all out as a one trick S76.

He isn’t taking advantage of anyone, the system demands everyone run a new account past 10 placement games anyways. It’s not like there is a check box you can click with ā€œPlayed in Overwatch Leagueā€ that lets a player skip placements.

I can’t stand the throw or buy/find a bronze account sort of junk climbs. That’s gaming the system. This was nothing more than a speed run with a brand new account, doing what every new to comp account had to do.

I’ve seen this same knock thrown at other OWL pros before in placement streams. Like what exactly should they do about it? Never buy another account? Only take one past placements?
You have to do placements, that’s the systems. Sometimes you get low SR players in placement games. You have zero control over it.

Why come here and post this BS as if someone cares what one more cheater has done?

Jeez, a lot of people seem irrationally upset about dafran smurfing

Hmm. Do you share same mentality for others as well when you get one in your match?

yeah where are the forced losses and the bronze thrower smurfs?

29-2 and currently at 4100. If this doesn’t show just how far above the t50 are than everyone else, I don’t know what will.

Hes a coward.
Theres no need for crap like that.
Just shows how scared he is. How little self confidence he has.
Hope he gets banned
There is no way he got placed in silver without throwing

Yeah someone who finishes #1 and #3 in one season and played professionally to universal acclaim has no self confidence.

He placed 3500. He’s now 4170.

In fairness part of him quitting OWL was due to his anxiety but he did unranked to Top 500 showing his placements. He didn’t throw and in fact dominated on them.

Such an achievement!

Whats next? A professional basketball player beating kids on the school grounds then proceeds to go back to the pro league?

IF you really want to impress people find some bronze nobody and coach him up to GM. Lets see how well that plays out.

He got placed in 3500 didnt he? That means he literally never seen the bronze madness since he started at silver rank and was fighting diamonds at the 4th placement game.

Bronze is the easiest rank to leave… it’d be like saying first grade is harder to pass than eighth.

I really hate to break it to you, but if he’s going 60-3 in gold games, he’s going to go 80-3 in bronze games at least. Bronze really is not hard to escape. Even for plats it is a cake walk - how easy it would be for one of the top players is almost unbelievable.

Yeah i know but there are several people there with terrible skills and all that so if they would actually get someone out from there up to GM throught coaching it would be actually impressing.

There was actually a series where Jayne coached a low rank player up to plat from silver ish. Try to find it if you can. It’s pretty enlightening.
