a bit of both really because mercy is just now harder to learn because of her new cooldown but also it was plat pc players that he couldnt stay away from

Mercy sucks- well sort of.
The thing is mercy lacks a lot of self agency. It’s not a huge secret she’s one of the hardest to climb solo queueing support for that reason.
I decided to pop on over to his YouTube to watch (maybe I’ll catch him on twitch later).
I hate smurfs but this is too golden to watch as a mercy main.

i think he have decent movement allready even never touch the hero
he can slingslhot good enough, her positioning is good enough etc
i think the hero just take longer to climb cause u cant solo carry as mercy
even ML7 takes 80 hours on her old OW1 unranked to GM as mercy, while he do other healer its usually only takes 30-40 hours

I’m inclined to say Mercy sucks. It’s been proven that she is the hardest hero to climb with (via one tricking) in the entire game.

It just shows, that what we are telling for years is true. Mercy takes a lot of skill to climb, but it is quite unique to her type of skill.

He sucks when it come to adapting to her now, but she sucks in the grand scheme of things because she has even less autonomy than she had.

Just for comparison, Njandra the t500 Mercy main, took two seasons to get to GM on her alt account solo qing that she started low.
She was GM on her main instantly though.
She is a mercy that knows all her tricks.
Mercy is tough to climb especially now more than ever.

Lol even the first match someone put in chat dps diff and he is getting mildly upset and saying no no no. Support diff. 
From watching just one match- he’s backwards GA is fine. It’s the other techs he prob will struggle a bit like 180 flip backwards GA or proc GA jumping. He may not need to learn it. We’ll see though. I’m actually interested to see if he can hit top 500 with her.
IN fact his movement is very basic from watching closer. However a bigger part of mercy is game awareness and prioritizing targets which he has.

I think he’ll end of breaking or breaking his own rules with climbing with mercy. Mercy is hella hard to climb. He was having fun but that’s because battle mercy is highly effective in those ranks.

And Niandra wasn’t “instantly” GM… It took her some time also, since she did not play much OW1 at the end and she was a bit rusty… She admitted it herself.
That is quite true.
Proven by Niandra hitting GM without knowing how to SJ in OW1
