Dafran DERANK trying to Unranked to TOP500 using liveweaver
first placement he got PLat 1
2nd placement he derank to Plat 2
3rd placement he derank again to Plat 4
at Plat 4 he win 3 Lost 6, i think he going to derank again to Plat 5
for comparison:
He got mercy unranked to top 500 using Mercy in 50 hours
He got rein within 9 hours
He got genji within 7 hours
He got torb within 6 hours
Not really surprising. Outside of a stack or at least a duo, lifeweaver will struggle.

Supports have said for years you can’t healbot to top 500.
Even mercy has damage boost.
Now we have a pure healbot, who cannot physically contribute dps or damage boost in anyway and guess what?
he’s not good on ladder. And Owl won’t touch him. So I guess he’s good as a low elo healbot for people who are happy to be hardstuck I guess.

Also I feel quite bad for Dafran. He’s starting to come apart at the seams doing this.

Support role is the most difficult role. Wins strongly depends from your teammates.
I’m pretty sure everyone saw from a mile away that Lifeweaver is going to struggle in solo queue.
It’s good to know that even professional players / streamers (don’t know which one of them that guy is) struggle to make the most of this new hero.
Lifeweaver is sure going to be niche but some people that main him will become specialists and will be able to carry the match in specific maps.
The hero sure needs buffs but to me it’s a win when a new hero is not as easy to master than previous released heroes. Also, is it that common to expect to hit GM with new released heroes on Overwatch ? I don’t support videos where players throw Competitive games to be able to release those “unranked to whatever rank” videos that are kinda tawdry / gaudy, but is it common for them to hit GM that fast with new heroes… ?
Overwatch is a hybrid FPS with unique heroes so FPS experience doesn’t always assure you to get a good rank with a certain hero instantly. Thanks for posting this good news.
I agree and disagree. This is true for Mercy and Lifeweaver a lot, but for other support heroes, there’s more agency in your hands. This is why I really dislike playing Mercy. Lifeweaver have slightly more agency over Mercy, and if I have to pick between the two, I would rather play Lifeweaver.
It’s bizarre how obsessed you are with dafran.
Well, LW is easily the worst pick in ranked, which was clear to anyone from the moment his kit was revealed. He has literally nothing to offer that doesn’t require a strong coordination besides damage and healing both at low to mediocre levels.
They would have to buff his healing and damage to absolutely insane levels for him to be viable in solo ranked and even then I think there would be better options.
I find it disappointing that blizzard hasn’t done anything about the constant stream of alt accounts…

He’s the toxic cry baby kind.
he’ll eventually get another buff again in the future. the devs have the stats so if they are terrible they will buff. surprised they havnt super buffed him already since new hero 
Considering he doesn’t have any lifeweaver mains to watch a guide of and learn how to play the hero that’s not really surprising.
He’s not gonna magically know a hero’s ins and outs. Give him some time

Life Weaver is hard to Master because you just won’t win games unless you’re already in the top 1% of players it seems.
Healing is useless. This game is just team deathmatch.
