according to the forum, if d.va is not in every game in owl, sheâs bad

O how terrible that Dvaâs pickrate slightly has dropped in a leaugue that is being played by less than 1% of the playerbase.
Itâs not like she always had one of the highest pickrate in OWL in multiple metas/seasons.

I find it highly ironic how Dvaâs pickrates on OWL were always used to justify nerfing her down to the ground, and yet when sheâs dropping in pickrates suddenly OWL pickrates donât matter because itâs less than 0.0001% of the playerbase.
Really, thatâs almost like my own argument 6 months back, except OWL pickrates were the holy grail of balance and people blocked their ears to counterarguments. 
Because pro bubble doesnât matter in the long run as itâs such a very very small minority of the overall playerbase that play their own version of the game for living, however itâs very concerning when both ladder and pro players are just dropping dva and sheâs not finding much success anywhere.

you cant use logic and comprehension to something that doesnt has it⌠how can you make a point on pick statistics when those statistics show she is way above average? The only logical, and dumb, conclusion is that unless she is completely overpowered op is going to scream.

The point is that her pickrate is tanking without the range nerf.
Thus the nerf, which was only feasibly justified by OWL pickrates, was unnecessary. Stop being all sarcastic and rude towards OP for no reason as if the point isnât completely obvious.

You can quote me when season 4 rolls around and dva nerf hits owl that theyâre going to run dva less than wrecking ball. Or if the 2-2-2 lock will come around, itâll just be rein/zarya and orisa/hog constantly. Maybe Zarya/winston. Dva barely survives with 3 healers and still gets demeched so easily while hanging back, itâs not going to be pretty when they can only run 2 and matrix nerf patch hits owl.
Dva is not F-tier quite yet. But for a tank who is supposed to be versatile with multiple jobs and has decent synenergy with multiple main tanks, sheâs pretty darn close to being one and despite all these nerfs, some people retain the idea that she is broken hero who eats everyoneâs ultimates through walls. At this point it would not be surprising if she was nerfed again.
