So today I got 4 Kills with a single use of Dva’s self destruct in competitive however I did not get the achievement.
I killed Rein, Zarya, Lucio and Dva Mech. Does Dva mech count towards the achievement or is the achievement bugged?
Im not sure it does? since theres always been bugs to do with what the game considers an entity, like how doomfist wont gain shield charge is hes hitting any constructions or dva whos remeching/demeching. So it might not have counted. Sorry dude
It does not count for any death achievement. Not even kill count.

D.Va is the one of the few characters that can rob you of an achievement.

I think achievments like that are the ones that got harder as the game as aged, as people know at this point to hide from the D.va bomb. Now you rather have to place the bomb really well or you can get help from a Zarya.

DVa mech doesn’t count towards any achievement. You have to kill the hero. The only non hero that counts towards achievements is BOB

your best bet to get the achievement is to wait until the end of a round or map and then lob mech straight at their team, usually they won’t bother to dodge it.

I don’t think so, but the achievement is fairly bugged - on an alt I got two assists and a double self destruct at the same time and got the achievement…
But I’m pretty sure you have to kill living heroes, so mech doesn’t count.
I got mine last point of Kings Row, dropped into the whole where the big healthpack room is and flew under and up to blow it up. No one expects that
From person experience using it at the end of the map is pretty good for it. Getting lucky with roadhog hooking your mech is perfect if you can somehow bait him into that happened once for me.
But the best advice someone gave me which takes forever is wait for a new map as if you can learn a good bomb spot early you can surprise the enemy with the bomb and they may not know the covers yet. Every new map I’ve gotten at least a triple once before people learned it.
My favorite spot was on final point of blizzard world launching it over the giant wall right where the cart ends up.
