Hey i was just wondering why D.Va had a voice line where she is saying “F*** Off!!” in Korean. i know it is a more tame Korean insult, but considering she is a 19 year old and this is a Kids game, i don’t really get why it is in the game at all.
Which one are you referring to? “꺼져” is more “get lost” than “f off”
i don’t really want to type it but when i translated that it came out as that.
Double checked; the only thing you could be referring to is “keogi kkeojyeo” which means “go away” or “piss off”–no f bomb there.
The Korean for that is 씨발 and PLEASE let me know if you hear shibal in game I’d laugh myself to death
oh that sounds not what’s te translation said. it said it could also mean “go to hell” apparently.
man, this game consists teab3gging & visible underwear on girls and toxic graffities, voice lines, so why do you wonder?
it IS still a kids game though. i mean most probably wouldn’t understand it, but still.
I’m just curious, do you speak Korean DarthWinston or are you just using the power of the internet?
Well Brigitte sometimes says “Fu*k” in Swedish.
i was using the power of the internet and multiple sources.
Little of both, haha. I self-taught for a while but I have to fill the gaps quite often. I just happened to know both those phrases (funny how they’re both, uh, choice phrases haha)
Also yeah, I guess it’s the closest Korean gets to “F off” but it’s not saying the actual swear; just rude.
