A “tank” shouldn’t be able to fly at most 200 health heroes in the game and kill them faster than a DPS can (even if the DPS headshots and the D.va doesn’t). She’s the bane of any hero who has little mobility, and I’m not even going to go into how much she completely denies Ana doing anything.

Shes not really a traditional tank. You can demech her way easier than killing the mobile dps in this game

D.va has her own weaknesses. If you get picked by her a lot as Phara, consider swaping or changing your playstile.
And yes some Heros have counters so ther is nothing wrong with her denieing anna.
And you can just get a Zarya if you want to get her down fast. A rein is a good pick too.

She can only “delete” heroes who are wildly out of position, otherwise the enemies will shred her mech in seconds.

I think she is so strong because she works so well in the current meta. It’s going to be interesting to see if that changes when Sombra buffs go live. Maybe we will see less of Dva then. I really wish for a Zarya come back.

She’s not really a traditional tank like Reinhardt and Orisa are. She’s more like a fat DPS. But unlike Roadhog who was horribly unbalanced due to his guaranteed one shot, D.Va can be very easily punished by everyone focusing her when she dives in.

Everyone is calling her OP but forget her Defense Matrix isn’t as insane as it used to be when it could eat up entire ults and still be up for a bit after.

She’s not the overbearing actual tank she was before. The tradeoff for losing that was to give her damage options. Otherwise she would be useless. Her dps is very good, yes… but not nerf worthy imo.

Soldier/Roadhog/McCree/Pharah ults: 6 seconds
Previous DM: 4 seconds
Current DM: 2 seconds
It could not even block entire ults, let alone last longer than them. The only way DM can block entire ults is by eating singular projectile ults (such as Zarya grav or Tracer bombs).

This is why you are supposed to stand behind your barrier tanks shield :D. I find DPS players tend to put themselves really out of position.

Is that why they nerfed it? I recall being able to completely eat Reaper and Pharah’s ults, even back when her Defense Matrix was her ability that would be locked in one direction.

Don’t forget, people hate mercy because she has the ability to give people a second life. D.VA already has a second life and nobody complains about that. Along with an insanely fast ult charge.
