The global ult charge slow down will hit dva harder than most other heroes as this is a big part of her kit.
Being able to use DM, SD, re mek, boom now you have full matrix. Well that type of play will be harder to do now.
Not to mention that re meking will be harder now as baby dva

Ashe is going to get hit the hardest as BOB is the only good thing in her kit.
Itās the baby D.Va ult charge thatās the problem. It impacts her survivability. She is the only hero with that mechanic which is why it impacts her most. The change to bomb is just like everyone else though.

DVA ult is terrible - this is a buff for DVA because she is already strong mid fight and doesnāt rely on her ult to provide value.
Dude, BOB is like the worst part of her kit. Itās so easily ignored.
In a world where we have Rein, Zarya, and Orisa there is no way you can argue that DVA does not have at BEST the 4th best tank ult and I would say that is arguable. The 3 I listed just completely outclass hers so among tanks it barely even affects her and if anything improves her standing relative to everyone else.

I havenāt played the game for over a year. But I think I might have dropped in for a match or two at some point? Canāt quite recallā¦ But what I mean is that Iām not used to the 2 seconds between matrix flashes or the reduced range. However, I am quite aware of, and have complained about her ācardboardā meka.
I played a match earlier, and although it was only oneā¦ I got de-meched only twice during the matchā¦ As opposed to once every two seconds. I think with a guaranteed 2 tanks and 2 healers, it really helps D.va out a lot. I felt like she has lots of survivability under these circumstances.
Preliminary thinking is that - and I never thought Iād say thisā¦ But Iām thinking she might actually need to be nerfed for 2-2-2.
Or Pharah and Bastion who both have suicidal ults.
Mech Call charges very quickly, 12% is 38 damage. Thatās less than 3 more bunny blaster shots. Itās not a big deal.
EMP made me suicidal, so im glad i get to enjoy my match for 12% more time before having to live in absolute pure terror for most of the match
With what kind of Ashes do you play? BOB isnāt horrible, but itās one of the weaker ults, countered by so many things. Her dynamite is amazing, her primary is good and so is her movement/survivability.
Still the biggest problem is the overall lack of off tanks. Nerfing literally any one of them would be a mistake when the reason they see play is there role is highly highly covteted (because main/main comps suck) in 2-2-2 and 3/3 but they have not enough competition.
I feel the same about off healers but I think the off tank one is the more pressing concern as people love going for them over other roles as who to blame.
I think a bigger reason for this is all the offtanks are by far the biggest charcters who gain the most from 2-2-2. Dps donāt have as big in class needs and can make more unconventional combos work. Tracer/Torb doesnāt mean nearly as much as say Rodhog/Zarya tank combo does. Off tanks 10000% need a main tank to function which is now basically a guarantee.
As for off healers I think people were already better about mixing off and main than pretty much any category and I donāt think that is going away.

Umā¦ Oh, Iām not avocating for D.va nerfs though. Belive me, as a D.va main, I had my fill of nerfs since they added the missiles. Game has been downhill for me since. But playing D.va tonightā¦ She felt more powerful than ever before to me. So, thatās just one matchā¦ But hopefully 2-2-2 puts her in a better place where she benefits from a well balanced team.
