Does anyone else think that D.va should have emotes outside of her mech? No matter what you choose, it always defaults to heart breaker if she’s outside of her mech. I’d like to be able to do emotes like sit down or dance when I’m out of mech as D.va.

That would require every emote to be two and i don’t want all her emotes to be legendary so no.
Her sit would be her pulling out the console from her uprising spray
why would they be legendary? I just want the same emote buttons to work when she’s out of mech, instead of making the same animation.

Doesn’t have to be like that, they can be standard rarity emotes. In hero gallery just have a separate menu just for D.va that lets her equip emotes for mech and pilot forms. Then when you’re out of mech replace the emote wheel with the new one

Because they’d need to make a second emote for that and i wouldn’t put it past them to make the emotes legendary😂
I doubt they would make every emote legendary, or change the emote levels that they currently have, but that’s a matter of opinion anyway

I don’t feel like obtaining an entire new set of epic emotes so baby d.va can sit or dance.
I don’t feel like unlocking emotes for Symmetra, good thing I don’t have to go out of my way to get them. Cosmetics have always been an optional thing, you don’t want it just don’t get it

I just mean it’s clutter, i’d rather obtain any other emote in the game than obtain one for a version of a character that isn’t in the game often
I guess that does make sense. It is kinda a bummer when I’m trying to get something for an event and then Sym comes in with her thunder thighs and starts spinning around and takes the place of a cooler epic item
They’d literally be the same emotes as her current ones, just tied to Baby D.Va so she doesn’t always default to her default emote outside of mech.
All it would take is more animation work for it to happen, and since they have the basics down already with her emotes, it probably wouldn’t be too hard to translate it over to Baby D.Va.

I don’t think we are suggesting they’d be separate emotes. The suggestion is every D.Va emote would also have a baby D.Va version. So, if you equipped her dance emote then she’d dance both in and out of mech when using it.
There’s more work when creating an emote, but literally that’s the only drawback is that it’s more work to make a new one. You wouldn’t be unlocking baby D.Va emotes, you’d just be unlocking the core D.Va emote.

It would feel like that, but it would feel even worse for people who don’t play d.va, also i’d take your symmetra emotes if i could, i never get symmetra emotes…
